Very attentive service to travelers

We needed information to go back to our ship.
The streets and the bridge that leed to the Galataport were closed and no taxis could take us back to the port from Sultanahmet. Even though we were not staying at the hotel, the clerk in charge was very gentle and advised us about what to do.
He made several calls to find out what was going on and explained to us how to use the tram, where to find it and where to purchase the tickets. Very helpful information for us in our first trip to Istambul.

Not 4star

Not 4star… correct hotel, very kind stuff! But not really clean, the inside was old furnitures, the bed was terrible. Always had loud things from other rooms. And the breakfast was poor. :(

Best experience and perfect location

Best experience in Gulec Hotel.
Perfect location.
Friendly staff specifically Atilla who made our staff so easy. He was very attentive to our requests.
He even gave us good advices for shopping and restaurants etc..
He is a noble person with a golden heart.
Will definitely recommend Gulec Hotel to the visitors.
Thank you Atilla for the wonderful experience at your hotel.

If you go to Istanbul you must stay at Gulec Hotel

My wife and I really enjoyed our visit to Istanbul, and the Gulec Hotel was a great choice for us to stay. The Hotel is about 1 hour away from the Istanbul International airport where the Hotel made the arrangements for us to be picked up and return to the airport as well. The Hotel's locations was perfect to see most of the sites that are amazing due to the every thing was quite close to the Gulec Hotel such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Hagia Sophia experience center, the Grand Bazzar, The Istanbul Historical Museum or book tours right from the hotel, Hop on Hop Off Bus to get to all the other places without getting a private Taxi which is not advisable in Istanbul. The front desk manager was very accommodating and helpful as well as the other staff of the Hotel. Breakfast was nice, with traditional Turkey cuisine breakfast items, in addition to scrambled eggs and hard boiled eggs, toast, and cakes and cookies. The breakfast area had a coffee machine that makes all the coffees from regular, Americano and Cappuccino. The staff offers traditional Turkish Tea and coffee as well. Plenty of restaurants and interesting retail location on the same block of the Hotel.

Excellent.

The hotel''s location is muthis. The rooms are very clean and your every gun towel is refreshing.
The gentlemen at the front desk were especially helpful. If we’re back in Istanbul, we’ll definitely go to the same hotel again. We were very pleased.
