It was bad, but we resolved it with the hotel's understanding.

Now, first of all, consider this if you're someone like me who is afraid of toilets, dust, dirt, and public spaces. The place I turn my nose up at can be someone else's palace. Ibish, I went to Kayseri with high expectations in this respect. But the room was dusty everywhere (I always wipe down doorknobs, etc.), and there were a bunch of brown stains on the toilet door that came off when I wiped them; it made me nauseous. They are connected to the Nov Hotel, and when we asked them to, they moved us there. They were very understanding about this, thankfully. We moved to a 4-star hotel. That room wasn't anything special for me either, but it was more comfortable than the ibis. As I said, if you're the type of person who doesn't value peace of mind and thinks "I'll sleep anywhere," then go with complete peace of mind; it will seem like a five-star hotel to you.
