Suitable stay in Canakkale
The Parion Hotel was our hotel in Canakkale, Türkiye. Again, we only saw it in the evening after a long day of travel. So we spent little time at the hotel and room itself. We had dinner and breakfast then checked out to leave. The food was okay and not as varied as I would have liked. We did walk around the block before the rain set in. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a nice shower and large sink. The staff were nice. It was not the best or the worst hotel on the trip but sort of midrange. Not exactly 5-star.

Parking attendant was amazing. He's an asset for the hotel. Shame about the reception staff. Asked for a luggage trolley to our room and no one arrived. So had to take it down ourself. Parking attendant helped us load. Parking is very limited but we managed. Hotel toilet had a foul smell (possibly sewage)

5-star hotel...you decide.
I stayed the night of 05/22.
At 11:15 PM, I started drying my hair with the hairdryer, but it immediately turned off. I called the reception, a man answered, saying only "ok."
At 11:40 PM, I called again. A woman answered, saying ok.
At 11:50 PM, I called to report that it was the third time I was calling, that I wanted to go to bed but couldn't with wet hair. A man answered and hung up without saying anything.
At 12:10 AM, I went down to the reception: there were four people, two women and two men. I brought the problem to the attention of a woman, who did not say a word. Chait intervened, saying that I had spoken with him and that the solution was that they would take me to another room to dry off. I asked when, he hesitated and then said, not very convincingly, 5 minutes. He evidently hoped I would return to my room, but I stayed there, with my hair wet for an hour by now. After a while, a supervisor arrived who took me to the 6th floor, to a very dirty room; the sink was full of trash, and on the floor in front of the bathroom door, there was something that looked like a dirty sanitary pad. In these conditions, I had to dry my hair while the supervisor stayed to "supervise" me.
It was evident that there was a total lack of interest in solving the problem and annoyance at my insistence. They didn't even try to apologize. 5-star hotel... you judge.
Out of nerves, I even spent the night awake.

A lovely two-day holiday.
Çanakkale is a region we've visited and loved. This was our first time choosing this hotel. The location is decent, about 1.5 km from the city center, a great option for those who prefer walking. Regarding the staff, I'd like to mention that all the staff, especially Ms. Kezban, were very helpful. We had a couple of problems with the lock on our room, but they tried to resolve them quickly and without complaint. I can truly say that Ms. Kezban is an expert in interpersonal skills. She did her job with a smile and without saying no to anything. We also left with smiles on our faces. Until we meet again....
