The blankets were extremely thin and we were very cold. We turned on the AC which was very loud only to realize the next morning that the window was open (we didn't open it).
The room was quite small but for one night, it was enough. The bathroom was good but some electric cables were visible from the wall (hair dryer)

best location

I have stayed in room 206 which was probably the best room in the hotel. Very nice view, second floor, large balcony overlooking bay and wanderers. Room was good, clean. Shower was good. Breakfast I enjoyed, and staff was friendly.

Ideally located, clean, comfortable hotel

Right on the seafront with beautiful views. Very comfortable rooms with sea view balconies and really good showers. Nice breakfast in cafe next door. Wifi coverage very poor on 1st floor. Only criticism is that it was rather impersonal.

Very good location but terribly small and unattractive rooms

With a spontaneous decision I have found myself on may way to Amasra to spent the weekend at Amasra with my family. Most of the hotels were fully booked so we had to make a quick decision whether to stay there or go look for something else. We decided to not to waste any time and go to Black Sea's awfully cold water.
The location of the hotel is very very well, especially if you are going for a quick swim, it is the spot. If you have your swimsuit ready and you can walk to beach right away. You will pay a small fee at the beach for an umbrella. The water temperature is not ideal, especially if you are used to Mediterranean water. If you are coming from a northern country, it will be easier for you.
The person at the front desk was very friendly, he has shown us the room, he was not able to give us a choice for another room with an extra bed. We had to sleep at the same bed with my 2 and a half year old daughter. The decision was ours no fingers needed to be pointed. Obviously it was not a wise decision. First of all the room was awfully small, there was 30 cm to each side of the bed and that is it. The bathroom was clean but nothing more than you need, after all it was a starless hotel.
The room was looking to the mountain side, but very noisy all night, at the end of the day I was trying to sleep on the chair at the balcony. At least the humidity was not bad.
If you have a time and patience go look for a better alternative, otherwise you will be stuck to this room.
