A safe value in Hammamet

Traditional hotel located in the heart of Hammamet 5 minutes walk from the medina and the beach.
A simple but effective welcome, rooms are the minimum comfort is at the rendezvous but sufficient.
Breakfast is varied.
Clean and good value for money

Very central hotel in the city of Hammamet, well-managed by welcoming staff, cleaning is carried out by well-trained staff, simple but complete breakfast. I appreciated the location and cleanliness

OK Hotel, horrible area.

Surprised by all the great reviews which I sadly believed and why I booked.
I understand people's tastes differ, but very clean with friendly staff is about all I can agree with.
Of the listed amenities, the following did not exist.
No currency exchange, only an unplugged rate board.
Absolutely no information in rooms or front desk explaining phone, TV,, local area, emergency information, fire exits, what to if there is a fire etc which is kind of a basic in any hotel.
Limited room service.. There is no room service at all.
Bar. Bar stripped of furnishings and looked closed permanently.
Air con. Set at 24 degrees and no way to change it.. But it was quiet when running.
When the day manager leaves in the early afternoon(and he is a very nice friendly gent and tries very hard to help you) if you don't speak the local language, you are on your own to fend for yourself.

Breakfast eggs were all hard boiled.
No swimming pool
No lift - not that this matered to us, we were on the first floor.

An oasis of tranquility

Clean and welcoming, tastefully decorated ; friendly and helpful staff ; excellent quality breakfast; rooms large enough and well organized. An absolutely superior 3 star hotel. Excellent location: a few hundred meters from the sea, the Medina and all services: supermarket, pharmacy, bars, restaurants. What else? Ah really happy price: around 50 euros per night.
