Heritage hotel very centrally located

this is a lovely heritage building in the very centre of the pedestrianised souk - an oasis of quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast continental, the rooms attractively decorated with tiled bed plinths and lower walls. its central location means it's easy to nip back to whilst you're in the souk area. lovely patio for sitting reading.

Hotel with typical setting but unfortunately the service has dropped compared to previous years, rooms are aging, noise in the hall near the rooms, furniture to be renewed, staff not always present...
I add the value for money, at 40€ per night in a half double on the island of Djerba it is extremely expensive compared to accommodation not classified by the Tourist Office...No catering therefore you have to add the prices of meals outside the hotel and you will find the price more expensive than a 4*....
I no longer recommend, unfortunately.

Nice little hotel right in the middle of Houmt Souk

The hotel has a lot of local character, with rooms around a lovely atmospheric courtyard decorated by bougainvilleas and aromatic plants in beautiful pots. It is also very well situated, right in the middle of Houmt Souk, perfect for visiting the village and witness local life away from the big touristy hotels. The room had comfortable beds and was nicely decorated. Staff was lovely and breakfast was simple but always served with a nice smile.

Loved it!

This place is great. Centrally located in Houmt Souk (which really is where you want to stay), Hôtel Djerba Erriadh is located on a pretty square in the medina surrounded by welcoming cafes and restaurants, right by the market. The hotel itself is so charming. Colored tiles and white washed with a pretty courtyard and comfortable rooms. The showers had hot water, the wifi was good, breakfast was filling, it was clean, and reasonably priced. The staff were all very helpful. Wandering around the area at night after most of the day tripping tourists had left was dreamy.
