It is in a very nice and convenient location, and the staff are very kind and helpful. The room is quite spacious, and the beds are comfortable.

I can’t say enough good things about the Element hotel. I was upgraded to a nicer room without my asking. It had a kitchenette, a sitting room and the bedroom. The air-conditioning worked great. The staff were lovely. The pool is enjoyable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Best Hotel Experience Ever!

One of the best experiences I've ever had. My prolonged stay at the hotel is worth it. Very friendly hotel staff, clean rooms and top notch customer care. Andrew the manager is very patient and friendly. Caroline at the reception always smiling and genuinely cares about guests. The ladies at the reception bibi, hadija, Gertrude and 1 male Michael simply made my stay pleasant always looking forward to meet them and their large smiles.. The restuarant, home away from home. The most friendly people i have ever met, shout out toVictor the manager, Wallace, Frank, Nuru Clement,Ramadan,Ismail, Tina,Mussa,Annastasia,salim,witness,monalisa,Esther.
The only comment is have a variety in the restuarant menu...otherwise splendid!!!

Staff courteous, friendly. Breakfast buffet wide variety with hot and cold options but tons of flies. Tried to access spa but no one there. A/C very good and strong. WiFi fast. Water pressure and temperature great. Not very well noise insulated but I was at the end of the hall. Area is bad, nothing close and nothing to do.

Stayed 2.5 nights at the Element by Westin, Dar es Salaam, and overall had a very pleasant experience, with just a few minor hiccups.
It was my first time in DAR, and although we were recommended other hotels, they were all fully booked. We opted for the Element, located in the vibrant Masaki area, and were glad we did.
We arrived around 16:00, but surprisingly, our rooms were not ready. That was disappointing, especially after a long and tiring trip. However, the issue was swiftly handled by other staff members, and we were upgraded to better rooms — a kind gesture that turned things around.
The room was very spacious, with a well-maintained living area and a high standard of cleanliness. Special thanks to Anna, the maid, for keeping everything in top shape! 🙏
One small issue was the rain shower water pressure, which was quite low and made showering a bit of a hassle. Not a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning.
We dined once at the hotel — the tomato soup and avocado pizza were surprisingly good! Although we didn’t get to use the pool area, it looked inviting and well-kept.
Service was a standout. Special thanks to Ms. Hatice, Michael (the trainee), and Ramadhan at the front office — professional, friendly, and helpful throughout.
Would definitely recommend the Element by Westin for anyone visiting DAR. With a few tweaks, it could be near perfect. I’d gladly return.
