This cottage is located nearby from the city center.At the cottage Spend an evening in a nice atmosphere of the bar. You can stop by the restaurant. Free Wi-Fi is available on the territory. Ask for more information when checking in. If you travel by car, you can park in a parking zone for free. You will find these entertainment amenities on the premises: a barbeque area. To book an excursion, consult the tour assistance desk of the cottage. At the guests’ disposal, there’s also a laundry and car rental. The staff of the cottage speaks English.

Great location and service.
We spent 5 days at Mpole Bungalows and loved the location next to a wonderful beach with crystal clear water and a very relaxed atmosphere, we were touring the mangroves on paddle board and enjoying unforgettable sunsets. The hotel rooms are spacious and very comfortable, there is a pool and restaurant with great food and all the staff are lovely. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately disappointing.
We booked Mpole Bungalows for 5 nights as the conclusion of our trip, which unfortunately was a mistake.
The staff was very friendly, attentive, and dedicated. The breakfast was good and sufficient, and the garden is also to be rated positively.
However, the following negative aspects have greatly disturbed us:
Permanent power outage. The generator is excessively loud. Since the bungalows do not have glass windows, peace is out of the question. On the first evening, the generator ran until 9 PM. After that, a quieter but still disturbing noise continued until midnight. I complained first thing in the morning. I was assured that it was the neighbor's generator. On the third night, the generator ran until 10:30 PM. A video somewhat captures the noise level in my bungalow. The fourth night was sleepless due to loud neighbors until 1 AM.
Previous reviews also mentioned the noise, with management responding that the concept is based on an open tropical environment. However, generator noise does not count as part of that.
At times, only a trickle of water comes from the showers. We also complained about this matter.
The fact that there is only cold water would have been the least of the problems if there had been enough water to actually take a shower.
Wifi is available: unfortunately, not in the rooms and only very poorly in the restaurant area. That should not be advertised.
We purchased SIM cards upon our arrival at the airport. Since the data package was exhausted, we inquired at the reception whether we could recharge another data package. The answer was no. One would have had to buy a new SIM card.
Fortunately, there was a very nice guest at the reception who noticed this and recharged our data packages.
I seriously wonder why locals cannot do that. Are there commissions on new SIM cards?!
The beach is close, but for us, it was not a particularly nice section of the beach. It may be because we came from Matemwe and were perhaps too spoiled there. No loungers are offered by the accommodation, which is a shame. I am not looking for accommodation by the sea to hang out in the garden. To get to the beach, one first has to pass by annoying vendors. Anyone who wants a shady spot on the beach must rent loungers for a fee from another hotel.
At least we did not receive any information about possible free loungers on the beach.
Cleanliness of the rooms: the towels were not clean (see photos). The bed linens also had various stains (see photos). The mattresses are really worn out. Unfortunately, it is difficult to capture that in photos.
Upon check-in, I had half a roll of toilet paper and received another one after asking twice. On the third day, we were asked if the rooms should be cleaned, which we did not take advantage of. Why would we?!
There was still something left on the shelf from my predecessor or the one before that. Who knows how long it had been lying there (also a photo). There is a bloodstain or something similar on the carpet.
The prices for the food seem very expensive to me. We ate out for significantly cheaper.
There is no safe or anything similar in the rooms.
Towels for the beach or pool are not provided.
Transfer to the airport is offered for 100 dollars, which also seemed very expensive to me; I booked it elsewhere for 40 dollars.
For the price, I unfortunately expected something different and would have preferred a different conclusion to my vacation. The price-performance ratio is unfortunately not right here at all. We were very disappointed and exhausted from the noise.
The issues were partially criticized in reviews a year ago, and the understanding management promised improvements.
So far, in my opinion, nothing has happened.

Yet another New management unfortunately different from the other two
We were guests of this property for the third time
(We return every year)
each time with a different management
the first two times, beautifully found both as management and as location
this time we have to review a negative part

the night before we received a message saying there had been some problems with our room
That's why they moved us to a nearby hotel for the first night, which was supposed to be of a slightly higher category instead we ended up with a problem in the bathroom
leaking from the water heater and with a bucket of water to be emptied each time it filled
in the message they wrote to us

Basically we used the hotel chosen by them only to sleep but breakfast was made at the Mpole
And this little detail they mentioned as a gift of food and drink we would have appreciated
Having said that we highly recommend this property

even if we had this problem does not mean that we do not recommend it

Heaven!
Magnificent place! Dreamy! Attached to the beach, with all the necessary comforts from wi fi to the pool, the guys are very kind, attentive and super helpful, they treat customers like princes and princesses, they even went to pick fresh coconut and gave it to us.

Mpole bungalows, Peaceful and friendly
The mpole bungalows, is a quiet charming place to stay, it has a small swimming pool, set within a garden with fruit trees and swinging day beds. It has a small restaurant, and bar. The bungalows are 30 seconds from the beach, where you can see the sunset, there is an all-night bar from midday to 7am, at sunset a fire is lit, we did not hear any noise from our bungalow. You can do activities and get massages direct from the beach. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
