Hidden gem

Really cool atmosphere, give Tulum, polynesian and African vibes. 2 min walk to the beach. Nice breakfast and friendly staff

High quality for price!

Very nice and cozy place. If you are looking for a quite and peaceful experience, do not miss this boutique hotel. Gentle and professional personnel do care about you, always smiling and cheering in a spontaneous way. Food (especially the breakfast) are excellent and served in a very catchy atmosphere. Matemwe is really a genuine area, where you can spend your time surrounded by local people running their own day by day lives as tourists were just in background.
The beach is absolutely wonderful but swimming is quite difficult due to the tide cycle…but you can easily reach by boat perfect spots for snorkeling and swimming.
Villa Unaweza is only missing a direct view to the shore unfortunately…although the access to the beach is easy and almost immediate …this would make it just perfect

Small intimate hotel

We stayed three nights in this hotel.
Very nice services for a correct price.
Place just five minutes from the beach.
Very nice establishment, personal, extremely smiling, polite and professional. Very good cappuccino, served by David
Yoga class included in your room reservation.
You will be allowed your bottle of water every day as well as shower gel, which is not included in all the hotels we could do in Zanzibar
Breakfast very hearty and excellent.
Price of the activities offered by the hotel high compared to what you will be able to find for yourself around, taxi fare also. ( 40% to 50% more expensive)
The establishment is a real little haven of peace, I advise you with your eyes closed.
Owners very friendly and smiling.

Perfect place to stay

We stayed here for 5 nights , the staff were absolutely amazing . Nothing was done without a smile and kind words . The food and drinks at every meal were delicious. Our day tours were organised perfectly. Accommodation was very roomy and comfortable. Would totally recommend to everyone.

The place to be. Top service, top location, greatest people, perfect stay

All we have to say about Villa Unaweza is so good that can be resumed in just one word: PERFECT.
The staff is great, the service is 5*, the clealiness is superb, the atmosphere outstanding and location, again, perfect.
If all the above is not enough, the management is so warming and nice that worth an extra point on that already given 10 over 10 rate.
If we would be so lucky to get back to this amazing island there would be no doubt, Villa Unaweza would always be our choice.
Thanks to everyone one at the hotel for making our time here an incredible experience and thanks to the nicest Polish girls leading this piece of paradise on earth.
