Simply wonderful
Unfortunately we did not sleep here but for 3 days we took sunbeds and umbrella. It is a beautiful structure. Facilities, including bar and restaurant, are of excellent quality. The stretch of sea, the beach and the view is simplistic to call them wonderful. However, I write this review to tell cone we were greeted with warmth and sincere smiles.
on the last day we were greeted by surprise baking us a cake and dedicating dances and songs, between smiles tears and hugs of the staff, including the director. I carry in my heart the colors of that heavenly place and the warmth of these wonderful people who welcomed and honored us by sharing their story and gave the heart. I recommend this place to those seeking the beauty of Zanzibar, the sincere affection of the people who work there, the value of friendship and the joy of being together that melt the ugliness of our problems and turn off your smile.

Title: Reservation canceled after booking through Agoda at a good price: how unfair! I had booked a stay through Agoda at a great rate, but the property decided to cancel my reservation with the excuse of alleged renovation work scheduled between September and October. The truth is clearly visible: I saw the same room magically put back on sale at a decidedly higher price. Using maintenance as a pretext to get rid of advantageous bookings and resell at full price is an unfair and disrespectful practice toward those who rely on Agoda to organize their trip. A total lack of ethics and professionalism. Stay away from it.

A dream stay in a palace.
Hotel aptly named PALACE.Room of 150 m2 , half board 3 courses à la carte , impressive maintenance and cleanliness , quality catering , sublime beach with bar , friendly staff and always smiling and available and above all an Indian manager (Agra) with little care for you and his hotel.All with an undeniable price quality ratio for a 5 star.

A Dream Stay in Paradise – Hospitality Beyond Imagination at Sultan Palace
We just came back from Sultan Palace in Zanzibar, and honestly, words are not enough to describe the experience – it was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived late at night, we were greeted with the warmest hospitality I’ve ever experienced anywhere.
A very special thank you to the manager Pradeep, to Richard who took care of us daily with endless patience, and to Abdullah, the talented chef. They literally went above and beyond to make sure we could enjoy fully kosher meals during our stay, under my strict personal supervision. They bought brand-new pots, pans, plates, and utensils just for us, still sealed in their boxes when we arrived. Even though it was late, they waited for us, set everything up, and prepared us a fresh meal with a smile. Throughout the week, they created amazing local dishes with the freshest ingredients, all under my supervision to make sure everything was perfect. They even baked fresh pita in our pan – it was a dream come true. Fresh fruit, delicious meals – nothing was ever too much to ask.
The rooms were stunning, huge, with breathtaking views of the sea. In one of our rooms, the air conditioner was noisy, and unbelievably, the director went as far as to remove the AC from his own office and install it in our room to make us comfortable. I have never seen such dedication to guest happiness.
The location itself is paradise – calm, peaceful, with an extraordinary view of the ocean. It is the perfect place to relax and disconnect.
We loved it so much that we immediately wrote to the manager after leaving, asking him to hold a room for us in case we come back – and he graciously did!
This was not just a vacation, it was an unforgettable experience of true hospitality and care. Thank you again to everyone at Sultan Palace – you have redefined for us what service means.

Amazing
We just spent 8 days in Zanzibar. After our initial 2 days at the North of the island, we moved to Sultan Palace for 6 days. We must admit WOW factors from beginning. The reception staff, all the restaurant staff, the housekeeping and Gardners, the beach staff and last but not least Hotel manager Mr Pradeep Kumar and his wife all deserved to be praised. The location of the hotel is excellent- so tranquil, peaceful and natural. We used to see friendly monkeys everyday. Although the accommodation was advertised as deluxe suite, it was actually villas. We loved it so much that we were comparing these villas in private islands in Maldives we previously stayed. On our last night, the staff celebrated my birthday with local song. We just can't praise the staff enough for the hard work they are doing to have a wonderful peaceful holiday for the guests. Well done to the management for the hard work. Best wishes
