Very happy to come back!

The staff & owner were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Every request or wish was fulfilled.
The room was spotless and very comfortable. We enjoyed every morning breakfast & especially the delicious dinner!
Big praise to the kitchen
The location and surroundings are just perfect and the view of Mount Meru fantastic.
Transfers or excursions such as to Arusha National Park were organized for us without any problems.
We felt VERY COMFORTABLE and would come back anytime, ASANTE SANA once again to the whole team- Rafiki:-)

Fine, quiet lodge in Arusha area

Oasis of peace in a pleasant neighborhood near Arusha NP. So quiet nights and clean air. Nice houses and small and nice pool. Very friendly staff who do everything to make it a super stay. Highly recommended if you want to avoid a stay in city Arusha.

Absolutely Amazing

This place was amazing! We stayed the last night or our Tanzanian vacation. Extremely friendly, great accomodation, our children loved the bunkbeds, staff was awesome! will definately be back again

Peaceful Escape with Excellent Service and Delicious Food

My stay at Rafiki Retreat was truly amazing. It’s a very quiet and peaceful place perfect for relaxing and recharging. The service was excellent throughout my stay. I especially want to give a big thank you to the chef for the delicious food and for always making sure meals were ready on time. Everything was handled with care and professionalism. I’ll definitely be back again!

Very basic and too far out of Arusha

it’s in the middle of nowhere. Stay close to Arusha or you’d be driving for ages on terrible untarred roads to get to this lodge. Nothing of interest for miles. This was a good 40 minutes drive from all sightseeing.
For lone traveller won’t recommend as can’t take a walk anywhere.
Food was nice, Mvuli hotel was lovely as was Outpost Lodge.
