We enjoyed our stay and the owner was always more than willing to help, including her smile. The room was nice and big and very comfortable. You ABSOLUTELY need a scooter as it is far from everything and rentals are available on site.

Wonderful, homely place in a natural settting

Leaving was hard! We loved this place so much, from the location on the river surrounded by eagles and squirrels, to the food and wonderful service. The rooms were cleaned daily and were neat, modern and facing the river. What makes this place extra special is Aye, who is super kind, helpful and quite loveable! She made us feel so at home.
The prices for everything were great and very affordable and, I would say a bargain. We had kayaks, bikes to use for free and hired a motorbike for 250 baht.
We were a little out of town (5k) and far from local shops but that was the sacrifice we wanted to make in order to be on the river so we could kayak up and down bird watching and be close to the hot springs, which were awesome - porn rang.
We would definitely come back and recommend it to all.

beautiful and tranquil place, very nice owners

I chose this place as a stopover between Ko Payam and an early morning flight back to BKK. After a quiet week on Koh Payam I did not want to stay in a city (Ranong), that most people are not so excited about. I also wanted to be relatively close to the airport. So I booked here. The place is a bit outside Ranong in a quiet residential area. The rooms are big and offer direct view on the river.
There are some kayaks that can be used. We had a very nice paddling on the river, which has little current and therefore ideal situation in a beautiful scenery.
only negative point: The staff is a bit helpless as they speak hardly any english. e.g. when we wanted to eat they gave me a menu in Thai (and maybe chinese) and shrugged their shoulders as I couldn't read any of those languages. Later I saw myself that an english menu hang actually on the wall.But it didn't occur to the staff pointing that out to me when i asked for it.
The owners, whom arrvived later are very kind. By telephone while still away they organised someone to pick us up and take us to a restaurant that offered vegetarian food and later drove us around themselves to show us the Hot Springs and we had very nice conversations. They also offered breakfast , so we did not have to leave empty stomach to the airport at 6am. Very lovely people and very beautiful place. it is well worth going off the beaten track.

De eigenaars zijn heel behulpzaam, brachten me overal heen voor 200 B, ik was er 4 dagen, iedere dag kwamen ze net leuke ideeën , mooi uitzicht op de rivier, genoeg te doen, je kon gebruik maken van fiets en kano is inclusief , je kan er eten , gebruik maken van wasmachine, super lieve mensen, crab app werkt hier niet , maar taxi kost 200 b
