Clean room, very friendly staff, and was extremely convenient to the public transportation and about a 3 min walk to 7-11 and a great little restaurant directly across the alley.

Pros:
++ Two bathrooms (very convenient for a family).
++ Proximity of the line to the airport.
Help staff to assemble suitcases.
Bunk beds appreciated by children.
Areas for improvement
-- Lift broken down during the stay.
-- Insufficient soundproofing (external noise).
No breakfast.
Medium size room for 5 people.
Hotel rather suitable for one night stay.

Great location to BTS/ ARL, price reasonable. Real basic amenities, towels, water bottles provided only. Small lift provided to go to upper levels. Receptionist not always at office, but available by phone call.

This place is noisy. I suppose most hotels in Bangkok suffer from noise but Avalan is on the junction of the Skytrain, rail service and a main busy road. On the plus side it is very convenient, clean, cool and reception will happily hold your bags whilst you explore.

One night stay before flight. Perfect location near Airport Rail Link. New and clean hotel. Little bit noisy even night time so bring earplugs if you are light sleeper.
