Highly recommended!

Super nice hotel with “secret” service in the garden. Nice room under the rooftops with beautiful views. It was very hot in Visby during our stay but we had a fan and slept well with an open window without problems.

Okay.

Pretty good. But they signpost nice, newly renovated rooms that they only have a few of. In the main building, the rooms have not been renovated for about 20 years. Nothing major wrong with them but it is not something you get to know when booking.

The importance of proper treatment

The reception of the guy at the reception at check-out at fm. 10/8 was beneath contempt. This made our stay very boring. We were not helped to leave our luggage until our flight left in the evening and there was no interest whatsoever in helping us with this. This really shows the importance of having the right man in the right place!

Friendly staff. Decent hotel. Okay breakfast. Central and close to everything in the old city. Strategic location if you're visiting the inner city and like to reset before continuing touring. A few minor inconveniences that stack up. Shower wets entire bathroom floor. Biggest gripe is being woken up at 06:30 by beeping trucks and containers being emptied loudly (glass and metal, probably recycling collection).
