Home Hotel Etage is located in central Västerås, 3 minutes’ walk from the Vasa Park. It offers a sauna and Scandinavian-style rooms with satellite TV, a work desk and free WiFi. All rooms at Hotel Etage have wooden floors and a work desk.

Very central location, great hotel, but small room
The homemade strawberry jam and the cake were great! The waffle maker and the coffee machine were great!
The room was too small to properly open our two large suitcases that we needed for our three-week tour. Unfortunately, there were no larger rooms with separate beds available at the time of booking.
Unfortunately, the very good dinner was simply sold out on two out of four evenings. The staff tried to find a substitute, but it needs to be planned better.
A description in advance of how to get to the hotel (keyword Sommargågatan) and that you can park briefly in front of the hotel to get information about the parking garage at the reception would be practical.
All in all, we had a nice, comfortable, and quiet stay with delicious food right in the city center!

I'm always happy at Etage Hotel
Breakfast is good and a big plus is that both afternoon coffee and dinner are included in the hotel price, which gives value for money.
The only thing I still react to is the coffee and tea mugs in the restaurant and in the hotel rooms. They have no ears, which makes them difficult to hold when the drink is hot. It's a small detail, but a simple improvement that would elevate the overall experience.
A hotel I would love to return to.
