Great hotel. Easy to walk to the waterfront and Old Town, and good public transport options to go further afield. Close to lots of good restaurants and shops. Staff are friendly and helpful, hotel is comfortable and breakfast was great. Recommend.

Great accommodation at great price!

A very nice little hotel, centrally located in Stockholm and within walking distance to much. There were also parking facilities across the street which made it much easier for us. Good breakfast and good service!
During the summer, jazz evenings were arranged in the sister hotel opposite and we had the privilege to participate. Very nice little jazz club.

Good place with very small bathrooms and too soft beds.

Perfect place for visiting the city, friendly stuff, tiny sinks ( try to wash your face...), too soft beds, but good breakfast!

Good service, poor room

After a lot of back and forth with our booking, including a complete mistaken cancellation of our entire stay we ended up with 1 night at Rex and 2 nights at Hellsten Hotel in the neighboring building. Because of this, they actually had to have 3000 kr per night for the room at Rex but with GOD service we ended fortunately with the original booked price. Given that they could take 3000 kr per night for the room, I am shocked by the poor standard. Extremely little bath. Can not use the mini wash without filling the floor with water slurry. The room was also extremely crowded for two even though it was double room. Warm without AC, dirty and worn, found insect in bed. Very simple breakfast. Cosy backyard. Now excited about the next 2 days across the street.....

Disappointing

We spent 5 nights in this hotel and despite that, we were assigned a tiny room where we couldn't even open our two suitcases (suitcases for a 3-week trip). The bathroom was the size of a toilet and even had the hand basin to match. Once inside, you could barely turn around!
The bed was a bit old; you could feel the springs. The curtains were not completely blackout, result: daylight in the room at 4 o'clock in the morning.
Only positive points: the quiet of the inner courtyard and the very varied and high-quality breakfast buffet.
We will therefore not be coming back. Too bad because the staff is friendly and the hotel is well located.
