a place to thrive

This is a nice hostel, a nice old building, a place to thrive. The surrounding area offers cycling. Also the kitchen was good.

I HATE THIS PLACE!!! TOE NAILS IN THE SHOWER, when we asked the staff to remove the toe nails they went up and did number 2 on the toilet with loud and loud farts for 30 MINUTES. When my husband and I were snuggling in bed, a child came into the room, he said they served dinner at 5 o'clock, a very unpleasant experience to say the least.

Lovely Hostel and lovely hospitality in Edsbyn, Sweden!

This is a wonderful hostel, located in an idyllic setting! The rooms were clean & comfortable, as was everything else in the hostel, and our host, Lotten, was gracious, kind, and informative! Our fellow hostel guests were very friendly, too, which was an added bonus! My sister and I traveled there for a wedding, and we rented an electric car in Stockholm to get to both the hostel and the wedding...and the hostel even had a car charger on site! All in all, a memorable experience in a beautiful setting!!!

Swedish paradise!

I in Edsbyn. I was delighted by the charm of the house, its unique spirit, calm surroundings and the warm-heartness of the owners! If you add delicious food to all of this, it makes STF an outstanding place to stay and enjoy the Swedish countryside as much as you wish! I highly recommend this place to everyone who's looking for some rest and picturesque landscapes :) Hope to be back soon!

Perfect country hostel

Had a lovely stay here, everything worked out perfectly. Great breakfast, needs to be preordered, good facilities, focus on the environment, pet friendly rooms, quiet, calm surroundings - perfect for a get away any time of year.
