Magical place

Our night at the Lodge was magnificent, the place is very well-kept, the breakfast is amazing, and all the staff is kind and extremely helpful. John, the owner, was really, really very friendly and welcoming. A unique experience!

Perfect Place for Abisko

We absolutely loved our time at the Abisko Mountain Lodge. I can not imagine having stayed anywhere else in Abisko. It is incredibly cozy and has the perfect vibes for warming up after a day or night out in the cold. We stayed in a Superior Room, located in a separate building from the main building, and it was clean, cozy, and relatively spacious. We appreciated having the mudroom at the front of the room for getting out of all our snowy gear.
We actually rented all our winter clothing and gear from the Abisko Mountain Lodge, and we would highly recommend doing this! The gear was very high quality Fjallraven and much higher quality than the winter clothing/gear I own or would have purchased.
We ate most of our meals at the restaurant in the lodge, and the food was fantastic. The breakfast spread was extensive, and we really enjoyed the dinner entrees as well. I'm pretty sure we tried all of them throughout our three nights there, and we enjoyed every meal.
We also used the on-site sauna, which was very clean and never busy; I was always the only one there. The service was also excellent. Everyone we spoke to was very friendly. As you can tell, we loved our stay at the Abisko Mountain Lodge, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Abisko!

Cozy accommodation and great food!

A Northern Lights trip that gave so much more! The Northern Lights were amazing. Abisko Mountain Lodge was an accommodation with good rooms, comfortable bed, cozy atmosphere, super nice staff and incredibly good food!!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Super nice, great Service, great food and a super lovely breakfast.
Nice not to have TV, amazing nature around and we were lucky enough to see the northern lights 4 nights out of 4.
Can't get any better!

Great Food, Service and Nice Hikes

5 days in early August we stayed here. We are very happy with the stay!
Especially good were the 3 course dinners.
Also breakfasts, the environment and all the good tips we got on hikes were very good. We made lovely day trips in the Abisko o Björkliden area in fantastic mountain scenery.
