Not Bad

This hotel was a little bit remote from city center. Walk by 20 minutes to Castle Kalmar or Kalmar cathedral. A supermarket was just right away from this hotel. Room was clean and functional. There was a self-kitchen next to the lobby equipped with microwave, refrigerator, and kitchenware. Overall, a not bad choice.

Affordable accommodation for driving

Very affordable accommodation that has saved a little through self-check-in and staffed reception for a shorter period per day. Free parking 7 m from the entrance. Okay selection of breakfast but the round tables are a bit impractical. They have a television that shows news in the breakfast room, would recommend calm music instead.

Do not let the exterior fool you. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are relatively spacious compared to other European hotel rooms, you have a private bath, there's no a/c but the windows open and there's a fan. The breakfast buffet was minimalist, but there is a communal kitchen to which you have access 24/7. The beds are comfortable. The hotel is located a block from a grocery store and less than a mile from Gamla Stan. The hostess is incredibly friendly. I cannot say enough good things about our stay there.

Clean and comfortable room, only disappointment was the breakfast.
Would recommend to anyone who wants a reasonably priced room.
