Atmosphere with room for improvement
Traditional Carl Larsson-style Swedish countryside atmosphere indoor and outdoor is the main asset of the place. We were lucky to get one of the best rooms, very large and bright with private bathroom, in the garden annex. The room definitely needed a makeover and serious maintenance, but it had space, light and comfy beds. Cleaning so-so.
Breakfast (basic but OK) served in the cosy restaurant to be eaten indoor or outdoor. The sympathetic owners have just taken over the business but it seems hard work is needed to get it up running. The 4th star given as encouragement for the future.
The small harbour is dominated by autocampers and yacht people. Go there if you like the buzz, not for peace or nature.
