Loved it. The owners made us a full buffet breakfast even though we were the only guests. Very friendly staff. Clean and tidy, good beds, rooms etc. One issue was getting access when we arrived in the evening. We needed to call and couldn’t because our Australian phone didn’t work for calls. Luckily someone helped us out and we got in. Highly recommend this place.

Sleepless in Eskilstuna

Rent, fine, and pleasant treatment.
27 degrees warm in the room! The only way to cool the room is with a portable AC that is around 65 decibels in volume, which makes it impossible to sleep.
A foul smell (sewer smell) from some industry nearby after 8 o'clock was the final reason not to recommend.

You want to live in a greenhouse? Be so good!

​Cheap – but not worth the money at all.
​Cleanest greenhouse: The hotel has a large glass facade where the sun is opposed throughout the day. The staircase was like a bakery oven at 40 degrees, and the room itself was measured to 30 degrees. The air conditioning stood at 16 degrees throughout the night without effect – it did nothing but make incredible noise.
​Little pleasant welcome: Check-in was declared to be valid until cl. 20:00, but when we arrived at At 7:30, the receptionist was already on his way out the door. We received a little pleasant message that the key was in a closet, and absolutely no information about the stay.
​Poor cleaning: The toilet was not properly cleaned (yellow in the bowl), and there was more hair on the bathroom floor when we arrived.
​It helps little that it’s cheap when you can’t sleep, meet nice people or get a clean room. Drive away!

The biggest issue was the so called AC. We had the family room which is quite large. I specifically chose this hotel because I knew it will be hot and in this one it said it has AC. However, the so called AC is a portable AC device. It didn't cool down the room. The room was approx 27-28 degrees when we went to sleep. All the device did was making a loud cranking noise the whole time the AC mode was on. So if you don't sleep with ear plugs and it is going to be hot (as it usually is in July), choose something else.
Breakfast was ok quality. Nothing super fancy and not too many options but the quality is a tad better than in Scandic for example.
Staff was quite nice but they didn't help with the A C problem. Just said that's how the AC is.

Zeinab at the front desk was exceptionally helpful, providing us with valuable information about the tours and local history. We enjoyed a pleasant supper in the evening, which included water, coffee, and tea, and found breakfast to be quite satisfying. The staff were notably friendly, enhancing our experience. Additionally, there are several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
