A lovely week had at the Hotel Bristol
We stayed the last week of Feb 2026 at this hotel and was very impressed with the whole service. We stayed in Room 105 which had a panorama balcony so we could take in the beautiful mountains. Room 105 also has a separate room with sofa / telly so possible to watch TV or read etc away from the main bedroom area. The room does not have a mini-bar but does have a safe and at the time of writing had a bath-come-shower. Right on the edge of the pistes so able to ski right up to the hotel … no need for any long walks. Hotel also right next to an Inter Sport for ski hire etc which gives 10% off all ski hire / purchases to guests at the Hotel Bristol. We had B&B and had the good fortune to meet Carlos who was a waiter in the restaurant at the hotel who was extremely friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Bristol.

Summer 2026: Perfect family stay at Hotel Bristol
Already our second stay at Hotel Bristol, this time in the Panorama Suite, which is highly recommended for families. Hotel Bristol has a perfect location, with direct access to the nature and mountains of Saas Fee. A pleasant atmosphere is maintained at the hotel. Saas Fee and the Valais have a lot to offer in the summer; in the five days of our stay, we were just barely able to "check off" all the items we had planned (Alpine Coaster, spectacular climbing tour through the Fee Gorge with a mountain guide, minigolf, visit to the Brigerbad, playing at several adventure playgrounds in the high-alpine landscape, riding all the mountain railways with the Saascard, rock hunting). Next year: Glacier tour.

Memorable stay!
It was a great pleasure to stay in this family-run hotel.
A special mention goes to the staff, particularly to Natalya and Estella, who made our stay truly wonderful with their attentiveness.
A small hotel with 20 rooms, where nothing is missing:
First of all, a professional service.
Very good cleaning.
Rich breakfast with genuine products.
We greatly appreciated the large yoga room, where we worked out every morning.
...It is a shame that it is not used by the guests. We found it to be an added value for starting the day well
Our room was equipped with all the comforts, especially the intoxicating view from the balcony over the peaks... accompanied by the flow of the river
Finally, for me, having worked in the hotel industry for almost 40 years, it was like going back in time, very pleasantly.

Location top, kitchen flop......
The hotel is great location, close to the ski slopes. The reception is rarely busy, the boss is not very talkative. The surroundings of the reception are lined with lots of posters and also in the elevator... far too much, we get lost. In the room there is no fridge. A bottle of water is delivered every day. The rooms are very poorly insulated, and unfortunately most guests, always slam the doors, equal what time of day or night. There is a nice balcony, unfortunately there is no cover to cover and stay a little longer on the balcony. On the balcony it smells like cigarettes if you have guests smoking outside. Unpleasant, we can't open the window. The wardrobe has no door. In the room is a small piece of furniture, probably there was a fridge in the time. The furniture is unusable, as it is not closed behind and has no tablare, so unusable. The safe is tiny. The bathroom has no door! On our way back from our ski day, we found the maid's key still at our doorstep. Anyone could have entered our room!!! We wanted to change a linen and left it on the floor. The housekeeper simply put it back on the radiator. Sorry but no-go!!!!
Breakfast is good, no variations, but ok. The first night there was the Chinese fondue: the fries are cold, the sauces bland, the meat was ok. Big flat, a lot of the plate was dirty. We very much appreciated that the water bottle is free. Bravo!!! Many meals are very heavy and the portions much too large, too bad. We had asked for all the evening meals, for one person, half a portion. Not once that worked, you'd rather have to throw away half or maybe the leftovers were eaten in the kitchen.???We also observed one evening that after saying we ordered half a portion, the waitress took out half the ice and ate it. The salads in the buffet are almost the same every night except for the green salad. The rampon salad was a disaster: every bite still had sand/soil. The rib was way overcooked. The apple strudel: the dough was still raw, inedible, there was just the layer at the very top of the dough which was o.k. At breakfast we had once ordered a slice of chicken instead of pork for the evening. In the evening we were served pork. After making the remark, the waiter brought a slice of chicken super thin, breaded, so dry. It wasn't what we ordered. On the menu, on another night, there was a chicken roll, but we were served a puff with chicken. Also, the dough was uncooked, so inedible. Once for dessert there was pancake: unfortunately it was earlier an omelet, because the pancake was much too thick. If the tablecloths are stained, you will keep it, all week they are not changed. It is up to the customer to remind the staff that we should still sign the invoice, the staff always forgets. Here is our feedback, there are still a lot of improvements to do especially in the kitchen, for us the kitchen was a big disappointment and we made direct feedback each time. Not once the half-portion request has worked.
