Nice place but too close to railway tracks

Should have realised that a hotel with this name would be close to a railway station. And it was right next to the tracks. As long windows were closed you could hardly hear the trains. However room was newly refurbished and very clean. A bit of a long walk to the hotel restaurant. Dinner was very nice and good value. Breakfast, included in daily rate, was generous with options of müesli and bread with cold meats, cheese, butter and jam

Overnight stay on bike tour

We stayed here on our bike tour. The hotel and also the restaurant is recommended. Everything worked out fine. We were able to charge the bikes in the parking garage. The dinner was delicious and rich, as was the breakfast.

Restaurant unfortunately not recommended

I only know the restaurant and unfortunately I can't recommend it.
Chässpätzli are made with cheap cheese, you feel like you're eating chewing gum.
The stirred iced coffee comes in a coffee cup, 1 scoop of ice cream, an espresso and a small pile of cream on top for CHF 11.-
The waiter is grubby and incompetent.

Exceeded my expectations

On the second week of August we spontaneously decided to go to mountains and many hotels / apartments were fully booked. One of the options left was Terminus hotel in Küblis. It was a perfect stay! If you come by public transport, train station is just 100 meters away. If you come by car, the hotel has a spacious parking. It has even a charging station for electric cars. Despite of close proximity to the railway station, sound proofing is very good, we did not hear any trains in the night. The hotel and grounds is nicely decorated. Our room had everything we might have needed. The bed was very comfy. The hotel has a restaurant on the ground floor. We had an amazing dinner! I particularly recommend pork schnitzel! I do not remember, when I eat so tasty schnitzel!.. My wife ordered fish dish and it was also very nice. Portions are big! All personnel is attentive and pleasant. Check in and check out were very fast. Breakfast is plentiful and diverse. If you look for a not very difficult hike or activities for kids, Madrisa would be one of the picks.

One night in Küblis

First off our welcome at the hotel was very good, met by a chap looking after the bar, checking us in very fast and without a single problem! We then went up to our room which is absolutely gorgeous, also the bathroom shower is a dream. Breakfast very mixed and fresh, fantastic.
