Nice stay in Wheatland

Comfortable "old style" hotel with parking right in front of your room. Pet friendly as well! Was presented with a check-in bag of treats which was a surprise! Storms were in the area and their hot tub was being repaired, a slight disappointment. Good recommendations from friendly staff on area dining spots. Also offers a number of choices for a quick breakfast before getting back on the highway. Would stay here again if in the area.

Staff was helpful, breakfast was good and fresh, room was decent. Beds were kinda hard and the sheets had stains but it wasn’t bad for a 1 night stay. The shower head was not good and the heat would not turn off in the bathroom. Bathroom also didn’t have a ventilation fan and the door did not shut fully. Pools were still closed when we stayed.

Wanna sleep? Get a different motel.

Too close to the freeway and very noisy. Beds are rather firm and breakfast was not worth bothering with.

Hello,
I thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your stay. I apologize for not meeting your standards. We are conveniently located off of I-80, which most travelers love and are happy to help guests move to a different side of the hotel if the noise is causing any hardship from the interstate. Some days there is a lot of travel and some days, there is not. I am sorry the beds did not meet your expectations and would have loved to discuss this and I would have been happy to find you a different room that would have suited your needs. I also would have loved to discuss the breakfast options. We have gone well above and beyond what is required for our hotel and most guests are overjoyed. We offer two kinds of waffles with toppings, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage links, diced potatoes - we also have two different kinds of breads, Danish's, muffins, yogurt and cottage cheese, hot oatmeal, three different cold cereals, coffee and juice as well as hot teas, cider and hot chocolate.

The room was awful. The fan ran all the time on the HVAC system. Thw bed was not comfortable
