An absolutely wonderful stay!!

This was, through and through, an absolutely wonderful stay for us! No detail was spared: from this home’s magnificent furnishings, our absolutely charming host, and our incredible, delicious breakfast. If there were a rating higher than ‘excellent,’ I would choose that!!

What a beautiful hotel! It feels brand new and is absolutely flawless. Olga and Dimitri are wonderful, passionate hosts. Will be back. If you are thinking about staying go ahead and book!

Highly recommend this historic bed and breakfast

We had an amazing experience at the Silas Robbins House! Upon our arrival, Dmitriy greeted us at the door and gave us a tour of this beautifully restored home. We were struck by how immaculate the home was--not a speck of dust anywhere to be found. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast started with a fruit cup that looked like a piece of art. It was fresh and delicious. The rest of the meal was simple but very tasty especially the blueberry stuffed pancakes. We hope to return some day with better weather so we can explore the grounds and historic Wethersfield.

Relaxing visit to Historic Wethersfield

We had a wonderful 3 night stay! The house is amazing with beautiful furnishings and decor. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet with a lovely view of the garden and greenway and our host, Dmitry, could not have been more helpful. The breakfasts were delicious, with attention to my special dietary needs. Restaurants are within walking distance and the entire historic town is beautiful. I would highly recommend a stay here - we will definitely be back!

A mix of Emily Gilmore’s House mixed with Downton Abbey and the Gilded Age and Hallmark…it’s perfect!

This B and B was amazing. It felt like staying at Emily Gilmore’s house mixed with Downton Abbey or the Gilded Age (what looks like wallpaper is all hand painted!!!). Dmitriy and Olga have thought of everything! And the three course breakfast every morning was to die for. Did I mention it was also in a Hallmark Movie? Not only is the house a perfect place for a Hallmark Movie, but the town of Old Wethersfield is also a perfect setting for it as well. Seriously look no further than this B and B to stay if you are anywhere near it. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, not too far from anywhere within CT. If I ever find myself in CT again I will for sure be back. Thank you for the amazing hospitality!
