Great stay
Wonderful stay! Parking on-site and very walkable to historic area. Room was super comfortable. Andrew was very accommodating. Will definitely stay again!

Nice stay for Christmas lights
The inn is situated about a block or so from all the action of the Christmas Lights! The inn is very nice! The fan in the Charles Lindberg room needs to be adjusted. It has been put up incorrectly and is only on one speed and that is the highest speed. Since you cannot open the windows, the fan is appreciated, but on high is too much.
The extraction fan in the bathroom does not work or at least we could not get it to work.
The sink in the bathroom needs to be looked at, it smells, needs a good cleaning and water drips down the cabinet into the drawer where the hair dryer is stored.
The water pressure in the shower is not existent however the sink is great.
All in all. We very much enjoyed our stay and Saint Augustine. OC Whites was a fantastic place to eat as well as the The French Pantry.

Horrible experience
I need a last-minute place to stay for my family because we have to drive to St. Augustine and help my daughter move out of her college dorm on Saturday, November 15th. I couldn't find much availability due to the busy seasonal festival in the city that weekend. However, on Thursday, November 13, a room in this place became available on Airbnb. I felt very lucky since the property was perfect—right in front of my daughter's new dorm—and the nightly rate was reasonable. I contacted the host to discuss details and booked immediately. On Friday, November 14, the host kept communicating with me, sending more information about the property and check-in instructions. The communication continued on Saturday morning, leading up to my check-in at 4pm. I drove four hours and spent the morning helping my daughter move. Around 3pm, I went to the property to check in. While reviewing the instructions on my phone, I noticed a new message sent at 11am stating that the host had canceled my reservation due to a booking error and suggested I book elsewhere. They didn't follow up after I didn't respond, and since I was busy with driving and moving, I wasn't on my phone. They could have at least called to confirm I received the message. I requested a phone call to discuss the situation, and a man identifying himself as Andrew called me. He blamed the owner for overbooking and said they found out on Friday night. He offered me a different property, but I declined because it was far away and less convenient. I asked for a full refund. When I inquired why I wasn't called directly, he replied, 'That's why we sent you a message 4 hrs ago.' So why wasn't I informed about this right away if they knew on Friday night or in the morning, rather than sending me check-in instructions? If I didn't interact with the message they sent, at least a phone call was merited to ensure I received the message. He seemed indifferent about the situation. Horrible management. I had to drive back home the same day since nothing else nearby was available or was overpriced. All this while dragging my wife and small kid around. This was the start of a series of misfortunes that evening. A few hours later, I noticed the reservation wasn't even canceled on the Airbnb app, yet I saw a refund had been issued. I had to contact customer service for assistance. Horrible experience they have a lot of room for improvement.

We were in the Key West suite. It was perfect for our weekend getaway! The bed was comfy and the shower was awesome! Everything was without walking distance.

Good experience
We stayed in May and were allocated the David Livingstone room. The positive aspects were that the actual room was immaculate; the bed was huge and very comfortable. The location was excellent and there was available parking ( no extra charge) which is always a bonus. Once we got over the shock of opening the room door into the bathroom, we got used to it. The negative aspects were that the balcony has an awning which is in a state of disrepair and offered no protection. The sink in the bathroom was dreadful; fair enough, it’s in keeping with the theme, but didn’t drain properly and was impractical. The same for the shower, very fancy but, again, impractical. The theming just doesn’t work in the bathroom, a conventional sink and shower would be much better. All in all we enjoyed our stay.
