Perhaps the most run down hotel i have stayed at. Stained sheets and blankets, burnt lampshade, holes in walls and ceiling, duct tape in the shower, ants in room, chair too filthy to consider sitting in, smoke detector missing with wires hanging out from the ceiling, and much more ....

Air conditioning service didn’t work had to change rooms three times to find a half decent working room with AC. I wasn’t expecting the RiTz Carlton for $99 but at least working AC . I feel sorry for the people who have no other option but to stay at this place .

My reservation was completely cancelled when I asked to only change the dates, cancelling the first night only. Super frustrating to show up to the hotel after an event only to be told my reservation was cancelled with no email notification. I was very tired and had no where to stay and all the rooms were sold out. Extremely unprofessional.

DO. NOT!!! STAY. HERE. The absolute worst hotel experience ever. My partner and I booked here for an event in Long Beach because the property was running a discount (amidst a price surge for hotels for the weekend) on all online third-party sites. We weren't expecting too much based on the price, images, website, and reviews, but it was far worse than that.
Upon arriving, the entire property looked rundown and decaying. The big marquee was the cliche, see-in-a-movie-type of rundown and molding. As we walked up to the front desk, we heard the party in front of us being told their booking didn't exist anymore. When we asked about ours, they said there were no more rooms because the "property was sold 2 days ago and all third-party bookings were lost, and they have since been taking walk-ins."
The multiple parties arriving behind us overheard us going back and forth with the front desk and owner, who was giving us the runaround about refunds and room availability.
When they finally "found" our booking, they showed us the room. It was DISGUSTING. Cigarette smoke smell caked into the room, cigarette ash/burn stains on the furniture, trash (and cigs) under the furniture, burned hole in the blanket, stains on the walls, floors, and pillows. The water was shut off for the first 30 minutes being there. My partner and I felt so unclean with the furniture we kept everything in our car and slept on an air mattress (we luckily had with us) in the room the 1st night and our car the 2nd.

Dirty walls, bed’s uncomfortable, some of the sheets had stains. Staff was kind and helpful.
