Room was clean and facilities looked to be recently remodeled. Staff was great and helpful. Overall a positive stay. I do not like exterior doors for room entrance for safety reasons, but this wasn’t bad. Would stay there again.

Fire alarm kept going off because of steam from the shower, room was not clean, and breakfast was not good. Location was great and staff were helpful.

This property is more of a motel than a hotel. The shower was a major issue. It was either too hot or too cold, and I had to keep adjusting the knob to make it work. The automatic AC setting also seemed to have problems. I had to keep waking up to adjust it, as it either got too hot or too cold. The comfortor wasn’t really a comfortor; it was just two thin sheets.
The noise from the neighbors was another problem. They were smoking marijuana even at midnight in the hallway, and I had to keep telling them to keep it down. The front desk staff seemed like they were forced to be there.
The only positive thing about this place is that it’s close to the beach.

Dark, dank, tiny, badly designed

We had 2 queens on the 1st floor. The room was tiny, dark and dumpy. The bathroom has only a sliding door with gaps all around the outside - more like a shower curtain than a door. No privacy for the person using it, or escape from smells and sounds for others in the room. Really bad design choice. There was also a visible gap between the front door and door frame, sheets had black specks on them and it seemed very run-down. Seeing a recent review with pictures of cockroaches in the room was the last straw and we packed it up and found a different hotel instead. I wouldn't pay more than about $40/night for this one. All these glowing reviews seem suspect; this place is pretty rundown and strange. Recommend anywhere else.

Everything was nice and a good selection of food for breakfast. Now there's more security for parking. You have to use your room card to open the gate to access the parking lot. That's a good thing. Parking is only for paying customers.
