Decent stay for a night. Seems overpriced, but I guess that’s what being in North Jersey near NYC gets you. Basic mini gym for a basic workout. Staff were helpful. 2.5 - 3 star hotel so it’s hard to expect much, but that’s why it seems overpriced. Breakfast was basic, but included. One thing that was frightening is they don’t have silverware and they have absolutely everyone using plastic forks, spoons and knives as well as paper plates. Total disregard for the environment which is common in the US, but unacceptable in 2026 from a Marriott property. Also not really walkable to anything other than the mall and the attached restaurant.

Facilities are getting run down. Room was not very clean. Garbage cans were not emptied. Air conditioner was very loud. Stay was just Ok.

I like the fairfield inn because it is on the smaller side and is very conveniently located to get around NJ and into NYC.

I have stayed here many times. It is a good place, clean and well run. I was put in a handicapped room so counter space in the bathroom was limited. The fridge made a buzzing noise so I should have just unplugged it. For the first time I could hear men talking in the next room till quite late, maybe because the rooms were connected by a door,
I always think hotels should acknowledge when you are a return guest, but maybe too much to ask.
