Another Great Vacation!

We have enjoyed this property several times and this time was just as good as the rest. We’ve visited at different times and while busy at times it never seems to be “crowded”. Property is well spaced and the huge pools are a complement to the beach. Good food options and convenience make for a relaxing time without having to go out too much. Rooms are spacious and easily accessible. We will be back.

Roach Infested

We were extremely disappointed with our stay at this Marriott property. For a brand that is usually known for quality and consistency, this hotel was shockingly poorly maintained and run down. We paid over $700 for a two-night stay and were supposedly placed in the nicest building and rooms on the property, which made the experience even more unacceptable.
Our first room was filled with cockroaches. When we brought this to the attention of the front desk, the staff initially offered to “spray the room,” which made it seem like this was a normal or recurring issue. After we explained that we were absolutely not comfortable with that solution, they moved us to another room directly below the first one.
Unfortunately, the second room was not any better. It also had roaches, silverfish, and visible damage to the bathroom ceiling. At that point, it was clear these issues were not isolated incidents but part of a larger problem with the hotel’s maintenance and cleanliness standards. We have stayed at many Marriott properties over the years and have never encountered one in such poor condition. Between the insect problems, water damage, and overall lack of upkeep, this stay was incredibly disappointing and nowhere near the standard expected from Marriott especially at this price point. Ultimately, we felt so uncomfortable and unsanitary in both rooms that we ended up leaving the property entirely and having to find somewhere else to stay. To make matters worse, we were not provided any refund despite the serious issues we encountered. This experience was unacceptable and not at all what we expected from a Marriott property.

Room never cleaned. Garbage and towels had to be left in hall. Staff non-responsive. Manager at check out apologized at check-out and comped some charges and said “short-staffed”

Great location. Beautiful property. Needs a little maintenance. Check-in was a little rough. Rooms were not ready. Staff was friendly!
