The hotel needs to renovate some of its furniture. The couch was old, worn and uncomfortable. The interior curtains were ripped. We had a 2 bedroom suite. 3 windows. All 3 windows had curtains with ripped holes in them.
Also concerning: When we left to go for dinner, there were 4 chairs at the table. When we returned, there were 3. So, after we checked in, someone entered our suite to get a chair. This isn’t appropriate entry regulations.
The beds were comfortable and access to the kitchenette was convenient. The overnight cost for this room is expensive. With the need for improvements in the room, the cost should be lower.

Cocroaches and Ants in the room
Dear Marriott Management,
I am writing to formally document an appalling and unacceptable experience at your hotel, which raises serious concerns about guest safety, sanitation, and staff conduct.
Upon arrival, the room assigned to us was in deplorable condition. It was infested with cockroaches and ants, the curtains had visible holes, and the sink tap was broken. These are not minor oversights—they are clear violations of basic hygiene and maintenance standards.
We immediately notified the front desk. Instead of addressing the issues, your employee Lupe chose to argue, raise her voice, and tell us she did not care. Her behavior was unprofessional, hostile, and entirely inappropriate for someone representing the Marriott brand.
I requested to speak with a manager. No one ever contacted us.
Later, another staff member, Maria, stated that the insect problem had been ongoing and would require major pest control. She refused to move us to another room, despite the obvious health and safety concerns. This level of disregard for guests is unacceptable.
The dismissive attitude, refusal to resolve the issues, and the overall condition of the room are a complete failure of Marriott’s standards. This experience was not only unpleasant—it was unsafe, unsanitary, and deeply disrespectful.
I expect a formal response, an investigation into staff conduct, and appropriate remediation for this incident.

Good location, rooms in need of a lot of TLC, unprofessional staff
I stayed here while in the middle of moving and relocating. The room was OK with the exception of a huge stain on a lampshade, and the sleeper sofa mattress, having multiple stains and tears that were unsightly. There were also tears in the sofa cushions. I had to ask for assistance about five times to reinstate my key card since it would always stop functioning. The front desk was helpful, but it was very clear that this was an ongoing issue that has never been fixed- straight out of the receptionists mouth. The carpets lining the hallways between the rooms, reeked of wet dog and pot. We ran into a couple of “parties”/get togethers that a previous review mentioned and it was very obvious they were folks that were definitely not guests and related to the staff as I saw the staff participating- definitely unprofessional and not on par with the Marriott standard. The only saving grace of this place is the free parking and the good breakfast with variety each day. Also, the location.

I hesitate to leave a review when my experience was not so great, but I try to be honest and objective. Our stay here had some good and some bad, so overall it was just okay.
I'll start with the good. The room was spacious, more like a large studio apartment with a bit of separation between the bedroom and kitchen/sitting areas.
We didn't request this, but our room was an "accessibility" room with features that would be helpful someone with accessibility issues. Thus, the bathroom was extra-large, as was the rest of the room (I don't know what the other, normal room were like). The space was nice.
The large fridge and kitchen area was a huge plus and a big reason I choose this type of room.
The bed and bedding was above average; very comfortable.
But the overall impression of the room was worn. The carpet had light/dark spots as did some of the walls. It wasn't dirty, just well used.
Additionally, the water temperature in the shower was randomly either scalding hot or ice cold, with no ability to choose which or adjust; it had a mind of its own. The water control in the sinks was fine, so this was something specific to the shower. I made a complaint the first day and was told they'd have it checked, but it was no different the second day. I reiterated my complaint at checkout and was told they'd credit me some awards points.
Lastly, the breakfast was a nice perk. There was a limited selection, but it was nice to have.

Dirty place rooms need to be updated carpets real dirty and walls. I would never stay there.
