A Comfortable Stay.

We booked Hochabel Hotel at the last minute on Thursday for a Friday arrival over Fourth of July weekend, one of the busiest weekends in southeastern Oklahoma. Since we had just moved to Texas, we decided to take a spontaneous family trip and were happy to find a hotel at a reasonable price with availability.
Check-in was easy. The room had everything we needed for a weekend getaway: two comfortable beds, a TV, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a bathroom. One thing that really stood out was the shower—the water pressure was AMAZING!
The hotel also has a McDonald’s across the street, which was especially convenient for our kids. The on-site restaurant was closed for the holiday weekend, but having a quick and easy option nearby worked out well.
What also made for a great experience was the customer service. We unexpectedly needed to leave a day early, and the front desk was incredibly kind and accommodating. That level of service goes a long way.
Overall, if you’re looking for a hotel with a comfortable place to sleep while exploring the area, this is a solid option.

While the location was convenient for our travel route, the room was alright. Staff was limited in that we had to wait for someone from the restaurant to finish what they were doing so we could get checked in. We were charged $30 more than our online reservation confirmation because the clerk “couldn’t find our rate” in their system.
I couldn’t get it corrected at checkout because the office didn’t open until after we checked out.

I've stayed here multiple times and appreciate the convenience and clean rooms. The restaurant next door is helpful too with great food. Highly recommend!
There was a sea urchin outside my door to welcome me... that was odd, but it must have dropped from their seafood boil I later found out. Lol

I selected this property thinking it would be an upgrade from Super 8 or Comfort Suites among the limited hotels in the area. While it was clean it was very Spartan. Judging from exterior only I think either Super 8 or Comfort Suites would have been better. They seem short handed - I had to hunt down the manager to get checked in (at about 6:30 PM). The on property restaurant was good but again seemed short handed- service was slow.
