Super cute and clean room-don’t be put off by the exterior being a little shabby! Great AC, comfy bed. So convenient for the airport!

A great option to stay in the heart of Hilo

We chose Hilo Town Inn for its excellent location but were very pleased overall with the accommodations. It suited us perfectly, was clean, air conditioned, and even had a microwave which is more than I can say for a lot of hotels these days.
The owner, Sam, was very helpful prior to and during our stay via text. There was also parking behind the building which was very convenient. We were about as centrally located in Hilo as you can imagine. I loved being able to walk right out to the Hilo Farmer's Market and to various restaurants nearby to enjoy meals.
It really is a very basic place to stay. Don't expect resort amenities. That being said, I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Hilo! The location can't be beat and we really enjoyed our stay.

The room was spacious and comfortable. There is parking in the back. There are a lot of homeless around but we were not bothered by them.

Family run inn on the second floor of a historic building. Newly renovated rooms with A/C, comfy bed, and easy self-checkin. It was perfect for our one night stay in downtown Hilo.

The rooms are okay, it's an old building, no elevator, no cleaning between days. The area was the real problem, so many homeless, you won't feel comfortable going out after dark.
