The hotel location is convenient write off US-2 and located close to different sites. Downtown Gladstone is 5 minutes away. The hotel is an older property, but maintained fairly well.
The mattresses on the bed frames are regular full, not queen. For a tall person, they will be hanging off the end of the bed.
They are pet friendly for a small charge.
Parking is convenient. There is a Subway and a Dominos pizza within walking distance .

The hotel was sufficient for an overnight. Rooms were spacious and clean, beds were comfortable. Staff was helpful and there was plenty of parking.
I wish, however, there was more comfortable seating in the room besides an office chair or the beds, and better lighting (higher wattage bulbs and at the table).

Got there very late. Nice young man, spoke barely any English. He showed me a picture four times of a light switch that had word heating on the top and cooling on the bottom. This must be a common issue for guests.
The room was inexpensive. Hotel felt safe. Room was clean.
It is a nice low budget hotel.
Some oddities. There is a panic bar on the exit door for the first floor that doesn’t work. A second door handle opens the door. For safety, owner should remove the panic bar.

Decent rooms, king room had a kitchenette. There is a lot of train traffic making for a noisy night. They only serve coffee and juice offered, no food.

Missmatched bedspreads with cigarette burns, shower curtains that are 2 feet longer than they should be so it was spread on the bottom of the tub - and stunk.
