Doubletree was amazing. I was skeptical because I got such a great rate, but everything about the stay was above and beyond my expectations. I’ve paid double for a stay this nice!!

Older hotel that has been renovated.

Hotel is ok. They renovated the bar area and the rooms and it look nice. However the hotel itself is very old. Exterior Pics are deceiving from photos. Looks much older.
Windows are old and drafty. We left our espresso maker in the room by accident. We called front desk a few hours later and nothing. It was gone.

Good stay overall; Minor inconveniences

Only stayed here for one night as we were in town touring UF. Overall, we had a great stay. Hotel is right off of I-75 and 10 minutes away from UF, making it very continent for both stopping on the road and visiting the school. Hotel was well decorated (all blue and orange lol!), and very clean. Service was great, no hiccups there. In the hotel restaurant specifically, there was one employee whose name i cannot remember; i just remember that her voice was a little raspy and she was definitely on the young side. Her service was outstanding, she accommodated us when we were in a rush and was able to get us in an out of the restaurant within 10 minutes with our food. We were definitely satisfied with our stay.
We only had a couple of minor complaints: The inside of our room was incredibly muggy and humid, to the point where even with the AC set below 70 we were still sweating. Furthermore, the AC shoots directly at one of the beds making it a little uncomfortable especially when the breeze is strong. Finally, the water pressure in the sink was definitely lacking and would dribble onto the counter.
Regardless of these things we still enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Awesome experience

Love this property. Everything that you need is within a short drive or walking distance. Customer service and hospitality was great. I would definitely stay at this property again in the future. The group sales manager Laura Lange was amazing and she made our stay on this property great.

I had a great experience, the service was friendly, the rooms were clean and spacious. I will definitely be staying here on my next visit.
