Went to concert... cheapest place we could find

We had no intention of "hanging out" here.... we were late getting into town and going to rock concert at the Fargodome. Didn't need frills... didn't Care about the lack of breakfast here. Ladies at front desk were pleasant, check in was simple. Room was cheap. BEDS WERE AMAZING! I have a sleep number bed (35 to 40 is my number) and have an impossible time finding comfortable places/bed to stay in. These were amazingly comfortable. Room was clean, temps were fine. Lots of fees (made me chuckle) for lost keys (this fee made me paranoid), smoking etc. Overall for price it was amazing!

Maintenance Man Nightmare

We stayed at this hotel during the Fargo marathon weekend. When we arrived it was almost 6pm. We asked for a late check out the next morning due to the marathon . They said they could only allow one room to have a late check out and it would cost $25 ( first sign ). We went to the room it was melt of mildew and warm. The air condition was broken. The lady from the front desk came to see what she could do, nothing . She told us to open the window we did and went to dinner. We got back about 9pm still no one came to fix the air condition . She called us about 30 minutes and said someone was on the way to do the repairs. When the repairman got there he had a bad attitude . He said to us do feel to hot to me. Why do yo have your jacket on. I said I have my jacket on because you are a man we are two females in our pajama at 10:30pm at night. He took the top of the AC off and threw along with all the dust on the bed. My close was on the foot rest of the chair he said move these things. He took the chair and threw it on top of the bed. He was just very rude. Making so much noise I'm sure others were waken buy his actions. It was so bothersome to me I couldn't sleep well. I complained the next morning telling the Lady at the front desk what happen she just said well the manager comes in at 7am you can let her know, I said the race is at 7:15. When we return the front desk manager was there and I told her what happen she said the other lady did leave a note . She apologized repeatedly . She was very kind I must say. However I will never stay at the hotel again. I left their feeling very uncomfortable and unsafe.

Clean, affordable, and close to downtown

We enjoyed our stay at Scandia. It's close to downtown Fargo, our room was clean, and it was affordable. There were some noise complaints in other reviews, but we found it pretty quiet when we stayed. The ladies at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. It's an easy walk downtown and that's what we wanted after being the car all day. All the other affordable hotels in Fargo are somewhere off the highway and not in walkable neighborhoods, we wanted to check out the unique restaurants and shops in Downtown Fargo. We plan to stay here again when we drive through Fargo!

Super Solid Choice

This motel is not fancy, but it is clean, reasonably prices, and very attentive to its customers. My wife and I stayed here during a 12 day bicycle tour. They did not flinch in allowing us to keep our bikes and gear in the room and in fact mentioned they have had many other bike tourists stay with them. The room was spacious, the bed was great, and the price was right. It is close to downtown and an easy walk to many eateries and shops. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Convenient for anything hospital related

Clean, affordable convenient to Sanford hospital and no frills. The hotel's staff is also very friendly and informative. Same day surgery is nearly in the parking lot. Also, I didn't see another place to stay in the vacinity
