While I was offered and accepted housekeeping service daily versus their standard service every third day, I was forced to exchange my towels, bath mat, hand towels, and wash cloths 3 times in the six days I stayed at the Cleburne Hampton. In addition, the hotel had two elevators but only one of them was operational!!! On the bright side, the breakfast was very well maintained and the staff were very helpful, especially Desiree and Faith.

Elevator had problem. Room on 4th floor. Could go up to 4th floor, but could not go down after door closed. Had to walk down stairs to ground floor or go to 3rd floor and get on elevator. Management did not offer any help or offer room on another floor.
Will not staying at hotel again.

Smoking scam
I have been staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites since 2021. Never had a bad stay and Jerry was the manager. He was fantastic! My husband and I are from Cleburne. I grew up there and I also retired from the very hospital across Hwy 67 from this hotel. So a lot of folks know me and they know me well. We would use this hotel whenever we had our Granddaughters. Which was often and I have tons of pictures from prior visits. We were never once charged a smoking fee. We don’t smoke. Well I don’t. My husband has passed. I moved to Oklahoma and came back for the first time to stay since his death a year ago.
This stay was okay until I got charged $200 for smoking a cigarette and putting the butt in a can. I don’t smoke and I never drink out of a can!! I have been called a liar and hung up on several times trying to figure this out. The woman that claims she is Director of Sales was so rude and ugly to me she made me cry.
I am an elderly disabled widow and I don’t appreciate the treatment I have received. I know many many folks in Cleburne and surrounding towns and they know me well enough to back up my truth.
The hotel will never have my business again. Fix the elevator and breakfast is crappy now. There used to be cheese omelets, scrambled eggs and gravy and biscuits. Not everyone likes those nasty bagels or western omelets.
I think you saw an out of town customer (but I’m really from Cleburne) and thought it would be a good scam to run. You took my money with absolutely NO proof! When I asked for it then I was told it was conveniently thrown away. I think incentives are paid to house keeping to lie. Then you charge folks.
You stole money from me and it should be illegal to do that. Have the day you deserve!!

I was pleasantly greeted and helped with exceptional care from Desiree and I can not say enough about Shayna whom assisted me with serious phone issues, aiding me with resolving not having addresses and phone contacts to get where I needed to go. It was a highly stressful time for me with my brother's funeral and I could not have stayed calm without Shayna her kindness and professionalism was exemplary.

This hotel is lacking in maintenance. The elevators wouldn’t go to the fourth floor unless you called the front desk. Clock in the breakfast area was an hour behind. I told him about it three days in a row and they never did anything. Housekeeping is lacking. I’d ask him to clean my room and I’d come back and they never touched it. I would try another hotel in the area before I go back to this Hampton. The breakfast was the same the first couple of days.
