Classic Charlestown Hospitality

Planters Inn is a fine traditional hotel with excellent hospitality, well-appointed, spacious rooms, fine dining options, and a great location close to many of Charleston's top downtown destinations.

Wonderful,spacious room. The location was really central too everything.The hotel had an incredible restaurant and a really quaint courtyard.

This hotel was excellent! The location adjacent to the Market district downtown made it easy to walk to several key historical sites, restaurants, and shopping in Charleston.
The staff were super. Extra bonus points for the custodial staff who cleaned rooms *twice* per day. Overall, 5 stars.

Planters Inn…the Best!

Absolutely LOVE the Planters Inn! Everytime we go to Charleston we stay there. My husband and I went for a weekend. Everyone working there is great…our room was great…..the restaurant fabulous! We won’t stay anywhere else. We understand they are shutting down to remodel…I bet it will be even better!

Would happily return.

Great central location. Very charming property. Nice room. Clean bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely stay again when we return to Charleston.
