Clean and quiet

This is a small well kept motel. The owner was very nice and helpful. There is not much around the motel, but a mile down the road are some fast food places and gas station. The price was very cheap. The room was clean and had a flat screen tv small fridge and microwave. Nice place to stop for a night or two.

Please do NOT stay here

I was traveling from Texas to Ohio for a move and needed a place to sleep to continue the drive. After the rude staff gave us our room keys for over the price advertised we set up and saw a mushroom growing in the bathroom. After notifying the staff, they gave us a new room key which had dead roaches in the other room (not pictured). They were very upset we wanted a refund but luckily they gave it back. This was back in November, but I doubt they upped their standards. Please avoid.

Cheap, but very dirty and strong cleaner odor

Very dirty and smelly room, would have been better off camping. Room had strong cleaner odor, so we slept in our sleeping bags on the beds. When we got home our bags still smelled from the one night in the room so we had to wash them. Would never stay there again even though they seemed to be the cheapest motel along this stretch of I-40.

Never again

Stayed before and must have gotten an updated room. One yr later, This time room was very dirty, holes in bed spread, blankets and sheets, disco ball with strobe light above upholstered dirty canopy bed with mirrors. Furniture and bed were truly trash, chewed on and falling apart. Not fit for homeless.

Super cheap, not bad

Decided to stay here at the last minute when we were too tired to keep driving. The location is pretty creepy, you have to drive back behind some abandoned buildings to reach it. The man who checked us in kept offering tips and advice to make our stay more comfortable, and even came over to bring us more towels. He clearly lived in the hotel with his family (household items were hanging out in front of one of the rooms and we could smell dinner cooking), it sort of felt like we were visiting his house! The room was $51 including tax for me and my partner. There was a fridge. Lighting was pretty bad, and there was no ice machine. You have to ask front desk for ice, which you get in parcels of small plastic bags which was weird. The parking lot was not very good, I kept getting my shoes wet having to walk through massive puddles out front. There was a gas station and I think a fast food restaurant down the road at the I-40 entrance, but we are vegan, so we had to make do with cooking for ourselves in the microwave. There are no nearby cities to get any sort of groceries or dinner, so vegans be prepared. Wifi was available, but not very good. Otherwise, we felt safe, it was quiet, and while the hotel was about as low quality as it gets, we paid very little and were satisfied.
