Stay at Marriott Copley Place

Perfect location! Nice, cleanly room. Helpful staff. We ended up with a back injury and they provided us with a wheelchair and allowed us to take it offsite. The restaurant was good. Overall pleasant for the price.

Beware of Hidden Costs although the M Club Lounge is Outstanding

Based on prior reviews, I was aware of the hidden costs associated with booking at this hotel but I decided the location and amenities outweighed the negatives and went ahead with our reservation/stay. First, there's a $40 resort fee which you pay when you check-in. $20 can be credited back but was limited to alcohol in the M Lounge or in-room/Yardhouse restaurant dining. Second, valet parking is a whopping $75. The hostess at the M Club (best hotel lounge we've been to date) informed us that our son would be an extra $17 charge for the lounge buffet breakfast. This I fought because no where on my reservation fine print detail that the breakfast was limited to 2 persons max. Also not sure what my new Gold Elite member status gets me since I didn't receive an upgrade. When I asked for extra towels from the maid, she pushed back that I had 4 in the room already. Based on all the nickel and diming, my family and I certainly took full advantage of the M lounge with snacks and beverages. The evening hors doevres were fantastic and so was the beverage selection. The old-fashioned my husband ordered was a very generous pour from a lovely bartender in the lounge too. The automatic call elevators were slow and sometimes failed whereupon an attendant would reach out to maintenance on his walkie. The room and beds were comfortable and clean (what you would expect for a Marriott elitel room) but seriously, WORST shower water pressure ever. Bottom line: I don't regret our stay here but I'll likely book at the Westin (same great location and connected to the malls as well) when we're back in Boston to see if it's better there.

One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stayed at the Boston Marriott Copley Place as a family of four — two adults and two children — and it was honestly one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in.
The location was perfect, with everything we needed right on the doorstep. It was ideal for shopping, restaurants and food, as well as being really convenient for public transport.
The hotel itself was immaculate, and our room was huge! There was plenty of space for all four of us to relax comfortably, and the views were absolutely unbelievable.
There were also plenty of elevators, so we never had to wait around, even when coming and going with our luggage. After a previous hotel experience where the elevators were a nightmare, this made such a difference.
Housekeeping was excellent and cleaned the room to a very high standard throughout our stay.
We were genuinely sad to check out and leave. We absolutely loved our stay here and would happily return. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for families visiting Boston.

Best Marriott!

This was the best Marriott I have stayed at in a very long time. I cannot think of anything negative about our stay. It was very clean and well appointed. The service was top notch with attention to detail. Everything is so well organized which makes your stay so smooth. We are all Bonvoy members and were extremely pleased. I will stay here every time I stay in Boston!

Checks all the boxes

Upscale Marriott that truly checks all the boxes. Spacious room, close enough to walk to Amtrak station, tons of food options within area and hotel with connecting malls. Forgot something there is a cvs, Walgreens and star market nearby. Duckboat tour start right across the street and very easy to Uber to and from. Easiest trip ever.
