Beautiful setting with costly extras

Beautiful setting and Ceasar Chavez park nearby offers great bay and city views. Lots of benches to rest while taking the hike around the park. Hotel front desk people are very helpful. Hotel was clean and inviting. Outside fire pits are nice but only operate until 10 pm. Pool and hot tub are a great feature but crowded on weekends. Restaurant on site is pleasant and food is good but is too expensive now, as is food in the 24 hr fast food area. Parking on site is also too expensive.

Beautiful location, right on the water. Having a marina view was well worth the extra money!
The rooms are older, but didn’t detract from the overall stay. Great location, easy to go into Berkeley proper or hop on the freeway to San Francisco.
Huge bonus that they take dogs!

Bed was terrible, I ended up sleeping on the Love seat. The restaurant was way overpriced for what you get, $8 for coffee and $10 for a muffin.
The view was nice

The hotel is on great location, it looks old and worn! Rooms are in a good size, with confortable beds, bathroom is ok but old. Carpets on the hall smell and elevator stinks .

A beautiful hotel to stay! I enjoyed inside and outside the hotel very much. I will go back again.
