First timer became frequent user.

I absolutely loved this place. The owner, front desk, and guests are all so very nice.
I stayed on 3 different occasions during my 5 months in AK. It’s very clean and close to shops and restaurants. They even have bikes, sauna, & meditation soaks for a small fee. The teepee is fun for small gatherings and storytelling. I will definitely go back. ✌️

First Taste of Alaska ❄️

This hostel is awesome. The perfect start for a alaska journey. The people, the staff and the property has a familar atmosphere Love it !

Inspirational

I have been staying at Base Camp Hostel since 2021 and the experience just keeps getting better. The staff is wonderful and the level of inspiration that you receive from the other guest makes this worth much more than the price you pay. If this is your first hostel, you are in luck!

Cozy and friendly hostel

I stayed here for one night and had a really good experience. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and had a nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient. Even though it was a short stay, everything went smoothly and I felt welcome. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Anchorage^^

Very good

Great hostel, convenient location for bus (2$ for downtown) and bike rental, to explore Anchorage and surroundings, I arrived in the evening by train from Seward and had to take an uber, not very cheap .. friendly and helpful staff, room (female dorm), large, beds with curtains and electrical outlets, comfortable bathrooms, hot showers, kitchen with everything you need. Great code to get in so you won't risk losing keys around, great price for Alaska!!
