Fantastic place to stay when visiting Yala!

Located close to Gate 1 of Yale NP this place was a fantastic find. Large clean room, owner and staff couldn’t have been more helpful. I recommend you have the evening meal as it was delicious. We did the morning safari tour which was great. The owner has a huge amount of knowledge of the area and animals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Amazing experience

UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE. My boyfriend and I stayed one night at the Boundary Yala. The host, Kapila, is super kind and helps you with all requests you may have. In particular, Kapila’s professionalism and kindness are outstanding, his integrity absolute, and his knowledge of Sri Lanka, the area surrounding Yala National Park and the park itself endless.
We often say that the hosts make the difference between a good and a bad experience. Kapila and his wife have made our stay at theirs simply amazing. They are kind and generous people.
They will not shy away from helping you with transport, food, and any other thing.
Of course, Kapila is not simply a host. He is also a safari guide, and a very good one. He knows every animal, plant and bird in Yala National Park. He is discrete, yet very open to discuss and share with us.
A great conservationist and a true gentleman.

Wonderful host

Lovely stay! Host organised and accompanied us on a safari at a good price. Had an amazing experience spotted leopards and elephants. Lovely dinner provided at an extra cost. Host was so kind and caring. Would definitely recommend. Felt very welcome and safe.

Great host and big room

We enjoyed our stay in The Boundary Yala. The room and bathroom was very clean and spacious.
Nice big beds and comfy mattress, pillows slightly bumpy but advised the host.
Lovely food served for lunch and dinner, we had rice, Potato curry, salad and Kottu which was all tasty.
The host arranged our safari trip for us, good price and a great driver (the driver did speak little English but was very good at spotting and pointing out all the wild animals for us to see) - no need for a guide.
Very helpful and kind host, nothing was too much trouble and he was very helpful with all the questions we asked about our ongoing travels.

Clean and quiet

The rooms are sparkling cleans and comfortable in cottage style habitation. They have a balcony and chair with table to enjoy the greenery of the area. It is located in a quiet area on the way to Yala. A small hotel is located about 400m from the accommodation to accommodate for breakfast and lunch if you don’t want to rely entirely from the host.
The owners/hosts are attentionate and courteous with good knowledge of English.
We took the guided tour from them and paid a bit more than what is available in town but were deceived by the little English he spoke and the small lunches provided.
