A Truly Exceptional Stay – Hospitality at Its Finest

Our family group of 11, occupying five rooms, had the pleasure of staying at the Cinnamon Grand twice during our month-long tour of Sri Lanka. Returning for a second stay was an easy decision, and it confirmed what we had experienced the first time—this is truly an exceptional hotel.
What impressed us most was the consistently outstanding service from every member of the team. From the friendly security staff and welcoming doormen to the efficient reception, attentive housekeeping, laundry staff, and restaurant team, everyone made us feel genuinely valued. Their warmth, professionalism, and willingness to help created a true "home away from home."
The food was excellent throughout our stay, with an outstanding breakfast buffet offering an impressive variety of delicious choices. Every meal was complemented by attentive and courteous service.
As I was coordinating our group, I had several interactions with the management team. A special thank you to the director Gayani, Front Office Manager Dulanjan Kumarasuri, Onaya at reception, and many others who handled every request promptly and with genuine care.
The Cinnamon Grand is more than a beautiful hotel—it is the people who make it special. Thank you for exceeding our expectations and making our stay one of the highlights of our visit to Sri Lanka. We look forward to returning.

Excellent place

Excellent service as always afforded to us by Indisa. Extremely friendly & helpful & pleasant staff at Cheers Pub. This is like home away from home for us. Even the food is good, value for money.

A truly outstanding experience thanks to Bimantha

My friend and I recently spent an evening at Cheers Pub and it turned out to be one of the best experiences we’ve had. Bimantha played a huge part in making our visit so enjoyable. He handled everything seamlessly, ensuring our orders arrived promptly, checking in at the right moments and making sure everything ran smoothly throughout the evening.
What impressed us most was how effortlessly he made our experience comfortable and enjoyable. His attention to detail, efficiency and genuine care for guests made a lasting impression and truly enhanced our visit.
Service like this is what makes people want to return. A heartfelt thank you to Bimantha for making our evening so memorable. We look forward to visiting Cheers Pub again soon!

Stayed here for 2 night and it was absolutely delightful! The staff was very hospitable, the amenities were great, location of the hotel relative to the touristy attractions was fantastic, breakfast was on point and a vast variety, room was decent sized and clean too. Gave us nothing to complain about. 10/10 and would highly recommend.
