Excellent Location and Service

We stayed here for 4 nights.. The owner Nalin and is crew is extremely friendly and service oriented and ensures whatever you want, is arranged asap.
Very friendly crew and extremely beautiful place to stay..
The rooms are nice and clean and the view is beautiful but the best part for us was the " never say no" attitude of Nalin and his crew which is what made our stay here extra special.
Very economical place in terms of accommodation and F&B and excellent value for money and I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Kandy.

Customer service was terrible.

This was the most disappointing hotel experience we've had.
Despite the check-in time being 12 noon, we only received our room after 4:30 PM—a delay of over 4.5 hours.
The bed linen was untidy, and there was no hot water.
Basic amenities like drinking water bottles and a working TV were not available.
The staff did not take any responsibility for these issues or attempt to resolve them.
Overall, the service was unacceptable, and we would not recommend this hotel.

THE WORST PLACE TO STAY AT KANDY

The place is very untidy, It is nothing like in the pictures. They have simply uploaded edited pictures to internet and collect advance from travelers so that they don't refund them the cash back. please avoid booking this hotel. No safe parking area, No common area, No TV, No WiFi, No water bottles provided to the rooms. Unwashed bed sheet . Not safe for children at all.There is no proper kitchen/equipment or cutlery for cooking. The guest were not provided with drinking water. The food given by the cook in the bungalow is raw and cannot consume.The natural pool is not available.The owner is very unethical.

Super place

A very confortable, calm place not far from the botanical garden but far from the noisy Kandy. In the middle of the jungle forest, with friendly monkeys coming around. Nalim and his staff are really special hosts who really welcomed us with their smiles and their hearts. They've also organized a sweet birthday party for us and our friends which we'll never forget.

Sweet serenity

Stayed here for one night as we needed some where close to Peradeniya train station as we had a train the following day. It's only a 10 min drive away from the station, and 20 mins/ 500 rupees away from central Kandy. The place itself turned out to be totally beautiful set along side a gentle creek with a swiming hole about 50 meters down stream. The place is surrounded by light jungle and makes for a very peaceful environment to wake up to. The insects do however come knocking, but we kept our doors closed during dusk and our mosquito net down and didn't have a problem.
The room is spacious, clean and very functional with a soft bed (for Sri Lankan beds) and a very warm shower. The WiFi is fantastic and there is a living room with tea and coffee plus FILTER WATER which is a nice extra.
The hotel offers KFC and pizza delivery for lunch a dinner and a 5 USD breaky which is nice with heaps of food.
The road it's on is worth a walk Down it's relatively quiet and at the bottom of the road about 500m there is a gorgeous campus full of playful monkeys that are very fun to sit and watch.
Overall this place is super relaxing it's rather quiet with only a few rooms, I would recommend definitely as a beautiful place to spend a night. Get out of the hustle and bustle and enjoy the tranquility of linwood
