Friendly received for a quick stop

We came here2 nights on the recommendation of Sawwa our driver. We were warmly received there was also specially taken care of 2 twin beds for us as girlfriends the breakfast was tasty,western and dinner very tasty sri lankaans

The hotel is in a lovely, peaceful location outside Kandy with spectacular views of the jungle hillside. Troupes of monkeys are a regular sight.
For us the downside was the difficulty in getting tuk-tuk or taxi to come and take us anywhere. We were using Uber or PickMe. The rating we gave for the hotel is quite a subjective one, if you have other means of transport or connect with a dedicated driver, then it's fine. And if you want peace and quiet it might be perfect for you.
Kandy itself is the rip-off centre of Sri Lanka. Everyone seems to want to charge tourists silly prices, even the supermarkets overcharge on prices printed on the packets. Having said that, the staff at the hotel weren't like that at all and were very friendly and helpful.

Heavenly stay at The Green Heaven Resort

Large clean room, en-suite & hot water. Very comfortable bed. Effective air conditioning. Beautifully located in walking distance of Lions rock with a fabulous well maintained pool (perfect for a refreshing dip in the heat here). Trips to sightseeing locations can be arranged at very reasonable rates. Breakfasts are delicious. The USP for this place is the fabulous staff who go above and beyond to make your stay special and memorable. We felt like we were leaving new friends behind when we left. You won’t be disappointed.

Really lovely guesthouse style hotel. Exceptionally clean and nestled at the top of the hills above Kandy so is really peaceful. It’s a 20 minute tuk tuk ride up the hill from the town centre, but well worth it if you want a peaceful and calm place to stay. The owner is also very helpful.

Good hotel

We spent 1 night in this hotel during our trip to Sri lanka.
Nice clean place where we ate well. Welcoming and helpful staff.
Little monk..No hair dryer in the room but it's a detail.
Well located in the quiet mountain
