Brilliant stay

We stayed as a family mid August at Galaxy City Hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. The manager was friendly and helpful and provided us with lots of useful information about the local area also. We stayed in two rooms on the 4th floor which were really spacious and lovely and clean. The view was beautiful also and my in-laws room had a balcony to sit out and look at this view. The breakfast was a number of courses and was very nice and the whole family, including the kids, were happy with it. There was parking in the garage for the car. Thank you for our stay.

All the staff are kind, and the service is also good. Room is clean and spacious, especially bathroom.

The hotel was nice but they couldn’t find our reservation and wanted to charge us for a rate they charge people who show up last minute. I went into my Expedia app and messaged them and then they could find it. Room was nice and clean.

Exceptional Service and Comfortable Stay – Highly Recommended!

I arrived at the accommodation quite late. The receptionist (apologies for not remembering their name) explained everything in detail and was very helpful. The porter also introduced me to the room’s features and assisted with everything without me even asking. The room and bathroom were spacious, with all the necessary amenities. I will definitely stay here again.

Good amenities, pleasant stay

I really did enjoy my stay here! The room had all the facilities you'd want, including an in-room refrigerator, tea making facilities, and a hairdryer in the bathroom. The bathroom was gleaming and the rooms very clean!
You can see some wear (the wallpaper corners were peeling just an inch or two) and it took them a minute to get the WiFi up, but otherwise the stay was great. Staff was friendly, helpful, and i greatly appreciated the wet towel they provided when we checked in!
Do note that the hotel is on a steep incline road! So even though things appear to be within walking distance, walking is a challenge!
