Kaluwamodara is home to Methira villa . Lunuganga Estate and Richmond Castle are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Bentota Beach and Moragalla Beach. Brief Garden, Bevis Bawa and Induruwa Sea Turtle Conservation Center are also worth visiting. Windsurfing and fishing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails nearby. Along with a restaurant, this bed & breakfast has coffee/tea in a common area and charcoal grills. This is UNFORGETTABLE!!!
Amazing 14 days in Sri Lanka, unforgettable experiences, incredible cuisine!!! Relaxing with your son in the villa, the most beautiful in which are people!!! Ami and Dami, along with the kids, met us like old acquaintances! The room is wonderful, clean, cozy, all serviceable. Villa owners always go to a meeting, Ami solves any problems - be it currency exchange, choice of souvenirs, and just advice. There were no problems with the transfer to the beach - anytime and back and forth! The beach is very beautiful, swimming is comfortable!
We want to highlight the tours that Ami runs as a separate item. No travel agent, no private citizen, etc. will tell you or show you what you will see with Ami. He brings to the locations at the right time when there's not enough people, he won't rush anywhere. This is a total DELIGHT!!!!!
And the kitchen... Since Dami cooks, no one can do that!!! In addition to the huge portions, freshest seafood (ranging from fish to lobster, crabs, shrimp, etc.), you will also be brought a side dish, ice cream and fruit. For breakfast, there are always fresh fruits, smoothies, omelets, great tea... They just rolled out from the table))
Never return to one place twice, but to the villa and to the magnificent Sri Lanka would return more than once!!! Incredible gratitude for the priceless emotions, for the beauty, for the wonderful welcome to this beautiful family❤️❤️❤️

Ami and Dami are in our hearts forever. I want to thank them for the unforgettable vacation at Methira villa. We were treated like family. It was my birthday during our stay, and Ami prepared a grand surprise for me with fireworks and a congratulatory message. It was unforgettable and very exciting. Dami provided us with delicious breakfasts and dinners. We also went on excursions with Ami. He showed us how beautiful and stunning Sri Lanka is. ️⛰️I have experience in traveling, and this is the only place I want to return to. We will definitely return to Ami and Dami again. It was a delightful vacation. Thank you, dear ones. We love and miss you very much.❤️❤️❤️

An unforgettable holiday in the villa on the other side of the world, and so cozy, in the same way as in the dacha of friends !!!
All tourists, good afternoon! I want to leave my feedback on our divine holiday in a villa in the sunny, bright country of Sri Lanka! We rested from February 25, 2026 to March 7, 2026 with our family: me, my husband, sister and my sister's little daughter - Margarita for 4 years, we are from Izhevsk, the flight was from Kazan. She found the villa herself, read the reviews and flew, as they say, "at your own risk." And what a paradise we went to on arrival! Transfers from the tour operator (bus) from the airport took us to a certain place and "handed over", now to our family friend, Ami - the owner of this very villa. Ami met us in his red super knock-knock and brought us to his house to join his family! We walked into his cozy, clean house like our close relatives, how nice it is, guys, being halfway around the world! A well-kept, green area with palm trees and bright, blossoming bushes, large, clean rooms, including large bathrooms, snow-white bed linen and towels, live flowers in a vase and fresh fruit in a basket, just like this greets Ami and his wife Dami all her guests !!! We put suitcases, washed, changed and went to dinner, because we arrived around 9:00 p.m. hour, on the table a chic freshly squeezed smoothie and a huge portion of hot: rice with vegetables, pasta, fries, salad, shrimp, fish, chicken, lobsters and all that "with heat", delicious oh-oh-very, satisfying, healthy, gods, still licking!!! And the peak of the experience is an evening dessert in the form of delicious ice cream! The same breakfasts in the morning just "eat your fingers"! Fresh smoothie always, pancakes, muffins, tortillas national, omelets with vegetables and sausages, plates with fruit, delicious coffee or tea, toast - in general breakfast is abundant !!! We take swimsuits and in our tuk-tuk we race with Ami to the Indian Ocean - it is of course divine and the beach is the coolest and the ocean is just high, for the ocean it is worth enduring both the road and the flight and all sorts of minor difficulties. Ami fully understands and speaks Russian, anytime you will be taken away or picked up on the call without further words! Any tour will be organized by Ami at the highest level, he himself used to be a guide for many years. He will tell you where it makes sense to go on a tour and where not to go, and the choice is yours! It will prompt and take you to any store, just prompt your wishes - tea, coffee, souvenirs, amulets, things, precious stones and other...Dear tourists, boldly choose this villa to stay in, the holiday will be arranged for you better than the hotel 5* (including any excursions), take young children and don't worry that they will have nothing to eat, because Dami - the owner of the villa, will cook everything like home, delicious, everything fresh, anything your child asks for, even fries, even pasta, even patties, even nuggets...Our dear friend Ami, once again a huge human thank you, you have made our holiday just unforgettable !!! Lighting the aroma, thinking about you, eating delicious coffee, thinking about you again, looking at the photo and just you and your family in my head!!! You're our superrr hero, and now you're in a superrr car!!! Wait for us to visit you again, know that in the city of Izhevsk you always have friends: Maxime, Elena, Tonya and Margaritka !!! Dami - you are Beauty, you are Goddess, you are so Smart, you have "golden hands", without you the rest would not be so wonderful !!! Thank you so much !!! Holidaying at Ami's in early April. Targetedly went to him based on previous reviews and did not miss)
Ami met us, took us to his place, and an hour later we were on the ocean!
Bentota is the best place to relax on the ocean. He, or his son, picks him up and drops him off at a convenient time.
His wife Ami sets an amazing table for breakfast and dinner. Such food and such portions are not even in expensive hotels! The seafood is fresh, divinely deliciously cooked. We used to take the undernourished to the beach for a bite to eat from breakfast.
Ami and I went on three consecutive tours for three days. Swimming the river and feeding monkeys, looking for crocodiles. Next is the turtle farm, Unawatuna, where you can swim in the ocean with turtles and feed little sharks + visit the town of Halle. The latter is the Elephant Farm and Yala National Park, where many wildlife and birds can be seen in the natural environment.
Holidays with a child 5 years old turned out to be super safe and rich.
Ami can grant any guests' wishes. And most importantly - he knows Russian and there is always something to talk to him about)
We'll definitely be back again!
