Hotel with beautiful gardens and close to Yala National Park

Due to our Sri Lanka tour we stayed for one night at the Elephant Reach Yala.
We were greeted very nicely and there was a washcloth for everyone to refresh.
The hotel is nestled in beautiful gardens and has a swimming pool. Due to the name, elephant figures in original size can be found throughout the grounds.
Rooms are located in double bungalows and are sufficiently large.
The bathroom and especially the shower are really big
Otherwise, the setup is rather simple. Bad was the air conditioning in our room. Unfortunately, it was unregulated and cooled directly to the bed. I woke up early in the morning shivering and I didn’t get warm because the blanket was just a sheet.
That would be reason enough for me to give the hotel only 3 stars, but the friendliness of the staff, the delicious and wide selection at breakfast and dinner must be rated 4 stars.
Yala National Park is a few kilometers away.

1 night stay

Stayed only one night here to go to the safari early next morning, so other than a la cart meal and breakfast, no other facilities were used.
Hotel very quiet as a few people are not happy to travel at the moment.
Anuka was very attentive in restaurant
Shakiya helpful on check out.
