A very nice family run guesthouse

We stayed here for 6 nights in total , in 2 different stays . Would recommend it to anyone . Would definitely stay here if I returned to Sri Lanka . The lady who runs the place was lovely, as were her family . The guest house is located a few minutes walk from the beach and the beach bars .

Family run guest house done right!

Really nice place (3 minutes walk from the beach), clean rooms with air con and a balcony.
Very helpful and friendly family run guesthouse who will go out of their way to make sure things are as easy for you as possible.

Inconsiderate and unhonest owner

The property itself did bit appear horrible, however - take your "reservation" with a grain of salt if you book here. I booked an AC room on booking.com, after speaking to the woman TWICE prior to arriving - I was told after hauling my gear all the way up to the room and paying extra for tuk tuk.to find this place that in fact, the AC in the AC room I had reserved was broken. No repair was due in the foreseeable future.
This inconsiderate woman, could have told me TWICE prior to my arrival there was an AC issue and allow me to make my own decision. Instead, I was forced to go out of my way, spend extra money and time and scramble to find a suitable accommodation last minute. Be careful booking this place, they clearly care only for the money and not for their customers.

Like a home away from home

Great family run place in a perfect location. The villa is 200m back from a lively spot on the beach. Clean, well-appointed rooms, quieter than on the main road, with a comfortable bed. Very welcoming host and family - would recommend trying the home-made Sri Lankan breakfast. We travelled here over New Years and would definitely recommend staying in a room with air conditioning as it is very hot this time of year in Hikkaduwa. Would stay again if returning, the hostess bent over backwards to help us in any way we needed!

Отличный мини-отель

Семейная вилла, на первом этаже живёт семья, на втором - 5 номеров.
До пляжа - 5 минут.
Все очень хорошо, чистота, сервис, вай-фай, горячая вода, внимательные хозяева.
Все, что должно быть в мини-отеле есть!!!
В феврале 2016 года платили за номер 5000 рупий в сутки, качество значительно выше этой цены.
